She's a classy lady that Impy, a very classy lady all around.

And she didn't use the F-word once. Double classy.

Actor.

If it's in doubt, I didn't actually add the poll option -- can I even do that to someone else's poll?

I believe the power to change a poll lies only with the admins and the moderators of the particular forum (i.e., Impy and Poe). Of course, lately, it's impossible to know just who the admins are at any given moment.

Back on the subject, the only thing I can see that even closely resembles Poe's work is the mouth on the girl, and that's marginal at best. Poe's early work closely resembles anime, and while he's managed to refine it to a style of his own, the influence is still there. Course, you could probably take a look at almost any piece of anime and say it vaguely resembles Poe's work, so that proves nothing.

It was me who changed the poll, Impy, in her wisdom, deleted my change.
Now in Australia we don't have Freshmen, Sophmores and other terms for uni students. But I'm pretty sure my additional poll option was Sophmoric in in humour classing.

Guess it's a no. It's just Lum's eyes and face didn't look at all like RT work and immediately reminded me of Poe. But then failing to find a single thread of evidence as to why didn't help. And it was just this one random piece of work that looked this way. I was going through archiving my Anime VHS onto DVDs. Actually I'll still be at it for quite some time. I've been doing it on and off for a year now. I think I've got a few hundred moved to my storage locker.

Lurker, not exactly. Didn't really have anything to say. Was actually surprised I had an account here.

But Poe is great. Missed him when he didn't come to one of the SF JTAFs (Japan Town Anime Fair) a couple years back.

Poe was at the only JTAF he was ever invited to... did two panels there, and a meet-the-guests reception, as I recall. He didn't have merchandise back then so we spent a fair bit of time wandering around looking for people to talk to, since we couldn't exactly stay put in the dealer's room.

Sorry we missed you, though. We'd love to go back, someday.

Ack! that must of been the one I missed by staying on vacation to long. Got home checked mail and got a "Hope you all liked it" email. This years JTAF is actually not in Japan Town oddly enough. The business weren't supporting it but seemed to be annoyed at it. It's a pretty small show for you guys anyway.

You guys aren't coming to WonderCon are you? Guess I could get off my lazy butt and check the schedule, well figuratively speaking anyway.
