Some kinda choice there. Not!

She's right, nothing's actually broken.

wonders if she can lactate.

Who the hells is Susan?

So...out of the multitude that showed up for healing, he's only got one dissatisfied customer? Pretty damn good track record so far.

As for Riley, I'm glad she decided not to have her talliwacker lopped off or have her Zeppelins be "Hindenburg-ed."

We don't even know what Susan was pissed about. Maybe she was trying to get Ian to cure her of her virginity...

According to this http://www.errantstory.com/archive.php?date=2007-01-22 she apparently wanted to be able to use magic. Makes me wonder why he can't help her.

Ah, I completely forgot about her. Her inability to use magic must not be a defect, then. Perhaps she simply doesn't have the innate magical power, and Ian's leery of the idea of pumping magic into her without actively seeking to cure something.

So Ian can't cure stupidity either?

I thought he had goddess-like powers ;)

*wistful sigh*

Riley stays as she is, then.

I admit, I'd not thought of the possibility of her going male. Probably because the comic has consistently used female pronouns for her.

Well, it's easier. She looks female. Seems fair if she doesn't exactly feel that way, though.

Against stupidity the gods themselves contend in vain

Friedrich Schiller by way of Isaac Asimov and various others. Susan will be the one who betrays the village to the Elves.

I love Wikipedia! I've used that quote for years without checking the source . . . .

Folly, thou conquerest, and I must yield!
Against stupidity the very gods
Themselves contend in vain. Exalted reason,
Resplendent daughter of the head divine,
Wise foundress of the system of the world,
Guide of the stars, who art thou then if thou,
Bound to the tail of folly's uncurbed steed,
Must, vainly shrieking with the drunken crowd,
Eyes open, plunge down headlong in the abyss.
Accursed, who striveth after noble ends,
And with deliberate wisdom forms his plans!
To the fool-king belongs the world.

I like it! :-D

It's the strongest argument yet for killing stupid people on sight

How do you think the bitch Susan is going to betray the village? The Bookies are starting to take an interest.

Susan's dad taught Ian how to do magic while she sat on the sidelines unable to learn anything. So I'm sure she despises Ian, especially after he couldn't "heal" her. Susan also probably thinks he's doing it on purpose. Perfect recipe for betrayal.

Cue dramatic music...

Not really unforseen, the bookies have called out a lot of the stuff that happens.

Cues rotating 'Ian did it' logo that I can not fucking find right now.

I've always contended that killing the stupid on sight is one of the best things an evil overlord can do. Of course, I also contend that anyone who disagrees with me is stupid, and therefore will be killed on the spot.

After all, if he wasn't stupid, he wouldn't disagree me when he knows it'll get him killed.

God knows the gene pool needs a lifeguard and chlorine. At the very least it'll keep the retards from peeing in the pool.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have our Jesus, and now we have our Judas.

I wonder though- where Meji come in? I don't remember too many psycho mage chicks incinerating pherisees and roman troopers with fireballs.

I personally know some PhDs, which are considered super geniuses, that are about that stupid. On second thought, maybe moreso.
