Ok, so now, my original theory stands. Why did Anilis want to keep elves out? Did the elves have something to do with the gods' disappearing?

For much the same reasons stores put up 'no solicitors' signs. Also they didn't just keep elves out, they worked on the dwarves and trolls as well.

Sir,

I have a consistency issue. Could you clear it up, please?

The elves installed a ring of these devices around the perimeter of Anilis' resting place to enhance the existing wards set up by Anilis. We don't know why. The obvious direct answer was that Anilis' wards didn't effect humans. However, it became clear, when Sarine reported to the Council, that they weren't aware that humans could pass through Anilis' wards. In fact, they were averse to even trying the experiment. The elves themselves could not penetrate Anilis' wards.

I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm not Poe, but my best guess would be that the Elves put them up precisely because they didn't know humans could pass through the barrier. When an elf walks into it, they get seriously fried. They most likely put up the wards to keep the humans from doing the same thing and inadvertantly killing themselves or something.

An alternative theory is that they wanted to keep everyone away because the site was sacred, and mortals shouldn't go there. EVER. There's actual evidence for this theory in the way the council responds to Sarine's tale of how she entered the Temple.

I think Tiamat is close, but IMO it's more the equivalent of a sign that reads "Caution: Electric Fence". They knew it fried Elves, so they decided to put up their own non-lethal barrier to prevent the brave younglings with too little common sense from fucking around with it. That it happened to keep out everything else was a nice extra since if it messed with them, everything else (worth mentioning in their opinion) would also get skullfucked.

Is there evidence of the elves trying to mate with the trolls or the dwarves? All that time on their hands ... um, FFR, hot sex hentai with dwarves, elves, trolls and humans

Dwarves were sterile, possibly uni"sex", and may not even have had naughty bits. It's entirely possible that Dwarf sex (in the conventional sense) would've been impossible.

As I understand, the Elves saw the Trolls as abominations from the very beginning and started a campaign of genocide from day one. It would've taken a seriously deranged Elf and a Troll who'd been living under a rock for there to be any Elf-on-Troll action.

It's significantly more likely that some Trolls might've tried doing the nasty with some Humans, with the lack of historical genocidal wars and all, but I'm not calling The Bookies over it.

Maybe it's just me, but I think "hot sex" and "trolls" should never be used in the same sentence ever again. :-o

A while ago, there was filler art of a Troll warrior woman. She was sufficiently hot, in my opinion at least, that I suspect many of the readers who saw that page would disagree with you.

Let do that by step:

First step, Elf view of the world: Elf are the most perfect creation of the complete creation of the gods.

Second step, Elf view of the other race regarding their gods: Since they are the most accomplished and perfect race of the creation, it's logical that they would be the ones who have to be autorise to meet the gods when they weak-up.

Third step, reaction of the orher race regarding the barier: What would be the reaction of the troll or the human if they where confronted to a barriere that would not allow them to pass (remember that the elfs assum that everyone, human includ, would be stop by the barriere)? The same that all primitive race would have: try to break it, no mather what it take, with the possibility to awaking the gods or to eventually break the barriere.

Four step, elf's leader conspiracy: The small contact with the Paedagosusi scared the leader about the reality of the origin of their "perfect creation of the complete creation of the gods" view. If other race can come to the barrier, the information will spread, if info spread, other elfs would come to visit, if other elfs come => problem. To avoid that, the better way was to creat a buch of scare tower, because people are not motivate to talk about strange stuff when they have to admit they pissed in their pant just by watching it.

Hope you like it.
