Font changes are usually a bad sign. Death may be a preferred option, I don't think he'll be that lucky. So long, Ian; hello entity wearing Ian as a meat-suit.

No, I'm thinking unholy lord of the undead.

Like we don't already have five of those at the Evil Overlords Luncheon. Feh.

Incidentally, Skeletor is a cheap bastard who always has a convenient excuse for not paying his part of the check.

Meji, there are times when fireballs are called for.

This is one of them.

STUPID fucker. For someone so "perfect", he doesn't deal with death well. This is why INT, WIS and alignment are all separate attributes. :evil:

I seem to recall from the story of the previous mage trying to bring back his dead wife and blowing himself up was that the problem was that he was using Illuminosita rather than a real god. Ian doesn't have that particular problem. So I think all bets are off here.

BRING ON THE ZOMBIES!

She's burnt to a fuckin crisp, and thrown into the ground for a few weeks, and NOW he wants to revive her?

He's got a lot more work ahead of him than merely resurrecting her. I personally am waiting for his disappointment to learn that they fucked up the identification of the bodies, and that he just raised his mum.

Cheers for friday, now we patiently wait for monday.

The similarities to X-Man from the Age of Apocalypse are so striking, I kinda want to see a showdown between the two of them.

His blood for her life?

Or will it be someone else's life for hers? The nearest thing around is Meji...

Ian... seriously. This sort of thing NEVER GOES WELL. It doesn't matter what source of power you're using, or how righteous your cause is, or how much willpower you apply to it. IT WILL NOT GO WELL. Even if it appears to do so in the beginning, it'll turn out badly over time.

Actually, some mages speculated that he only failed because an army of priests stopped him in the middle of the spell, and that's why he went s'plody.

On a side note, I don't think Ian will succeed, but only because Meji is a) going to fireball and thus distract him, or b) smash the back of his head with a rock, and really distract him.

Ian = Krispy Kritter.

Maybe toasting himself from inside out can actually bring back the sister, though. Sort of a cosmic swap out.
