Say what? I've looked for this reference without success; the closest I've come to finding anything similar is here. But there Jon is just rationalizing (more to himself than to Mandi) that things probably turned out better for Sara than if he had gotten involved. He knew she'd gone to the orphanage, but his little soliloquy doesn't imply that he had anything to do with her after that. Quite the contrary, which was why he was telling himself about this imaginary "family" that could give her the better life. Little did he know...

Yeah, you're right. I remembered it slightly different. Next time I'll check first.

I wonder if it's by the Ensergium's design or by Sara's unique character that she still has baggage from back then.

And what Irony. Jon didn't go and rescue his sister from back then so she wouldn't have to grow up with an assassin, strictly prohibited by their mother.

And so she gets adopted by a band of assassins who train her into a cold blooded, well practiced, killing machine.

Le doh.

Ten years is not so long to be lugging baggage. I've known folks to carry such baggage for much longer, multiple decades even. It doesn't even take any special talent or personality quirks

Hell, yes. My . . . uh, two sisters I know haven't had a civil conversation in thirty years because one of them didn't use the other's daughter as a flower girl at a wedding.

And that's the even-tempered branch of the fam . . . of humanity.

Honestly, though, that kind of baggage is something people carry all their lives and still feel the pain on their deathbed. We are our scars. That's what distinguishes us from clones and department store mannequins. All you can hope for to lead a balanced life is the willpower to remember the good more often then the bad.

If I wanted advice about how to live my life I'd be seeking it elsewhere... Now... Can we please discuss something useful, like what kind of toys they'll put into use during makeup-sex?

Time monks don't need toys. They can vibrate themselves at will.

Of course, this is probably more useful when it's the guy that has the time magics.

Not used to women causing their vaginas to vibrate at 120 Hz while grinding your crotch at light speed. For when the woman just wants to get some sleep.

I think he meant that *by comparison* they are not moving.

Well yeah... more thinking that a simply vibrating cunt isn't quite as stimulating for men as a vibrating dildo is for women (in my experience at least), and that having Sara bounce up and down on you at "light speed" as you say could cause some serious friction burns pretty quickly.

Then again, she really is in accelerated time (and not just moving unnaturally quickly), she could be lubricating more quickly too, so on the whole it could still work. Still, I imagine it could be a bit of overstimulation and ruin the experience. Speeding up your favorite song doesn't always make it better; sometimes it just turns the pleasant melody into a mindless cacophony. I imagine the effect here would be largely the same.

...I can't believe I'm having this conversation...

I imagine it'd be painful for her too! I mean, riding anything at a bagillion miles an hour is likely to hit the wrong spots, causing tearing, bruising, maybe even bleeding.

I'd imagine if they could slow down time too, then that would sexually useful!

Wait... why am I seeing this conversation? I'm fairly certain I don't want to see this conversation. At all. Anymore. Ever.

I thought that was what headaches were for. No, I am NOT bitter.
