Heres to hoping it's some really inventive, non-conventional ways of using that sword thingy
*Hey, don't flame me for not remembering the friggin name ok?*
to incapacitate each other in ways that involve lots of sweating, moaning and bodily fluids.

Of course that would reeeeally fuck with ol' Jon.

Didn't someone typo a post about that page with SHE'S FUCKING MY SISTER back then?

Typo, or precognitive episode? :-o

Seriously, though, I'd be stunned if there were even a hit of anything sexual ever between Sara and Sarine. It's not in character for either of them. At all.

Meh, some people are into that, others aren't. Not much else I can say, but jokes aside I doubt there will be anything sexual. I forsee more of an ass-kicking. But hey if you are hoping for a Sara on Sarine "action" lol, I won't stop ya. I wouldn't doubt at some point, that they would make a filler comic along those lines eventually. lol  Mostly for comedic purposes.

Just goes to prove what I've always thought and said. The day felines evolve opposable thumbs is the day they begin their genocidal war against the human race.

4) Sarine reveals her own brand of time magic and that it was all elvin magic in the first place, 1:10000
5) Sarine pwns Sara into submission (nothing like dominance  ) 100:1

Essentially, they agree with Impy that Sarine is not going to risk alienating Jon. Jon still hasn't agreed to her mission. Using magic on him is the fastest way to piss him off.

These are odds against, right? i.e. 100:1 means it's 100 times more likely that said thing is false than that it is true?

Also, re "Sarine reveals her own brand of time magic", I wonder... do mages fighting in warp mode see each other moving at normal speed, or are there varying degrees of warp (perhaps we should call them something, like "warp factors"?) and a battle between time monks involves pushing one's magical ability to bend time better than the other as much as a normal duel involves pushing one's physical ability likewise? If the former, I'd love to see the look on Sara's face when she tries to engage her usual warp factor 5 and suddenly finds Sarine moving at warp 9.

Would that really be any better at alienating him than having to kill his sister before his eyes, because she underestimates Sara's determination to fight to the death?

This whole arc feels weird to me. If there is one gap in Sarine's knowledge of how humans work, it must be that she doesn't grok family. Remember, we've been told that elves generally don't have siblings, and that the parent/child relationship becomes almost embarrassing to elves once they come of age. Surely Sarine is wise enough to know that her understanding of the brother/sister relationship is flawed as a result. So why is she taking the multiple chances of dying in combat, getting killed by Jon if she does have to kill Sara in combat, or just losing Jon as a result of threatening to kill Sara? It just doesn't seem like Sarine.

Well, in six hours or so, all will be revealed -- sort of. Or maybe not; I just noticed that there have been 18 strips since the start of this chapter, and that's roughly how long chapters have been recently...

Good points there, I suppose we will find out real soon what the deal is.

As possible evidence to the disconnect between Sarine and the concept of deep sibling bonds, there's the exchange during the big fight.

(paraphrased)

"Can you keep that other one busy?"

"She's my fucking sister!"

"... Is that a yes?"

My interpretation of that moment, however, is that it was Sarine's lovable dry wit.
