We now have <a href="http://sellingoutforfunandprofit.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7&products_id=63">Ellis plushies</a> available for pre-order in our online store!

WE NEED AT LEAST 200 PRE-ORDERS TO BE ABLE TO PAY THE MANUFACTURER, <b>SO PLEASE PRE-ORDER NOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE PLUSHIES!!</b> They have already been ordered from the factory and are being stitched together right now, but we have to pay the manufacturer before the plushies can ship, and your pre-order makes that a LOT easier for us to do. We are only producing a limited number of these for the time being, and we will produce Rape-kun plushies only if the Ellis plushies sell well, because the sales are the best way we have to guage your interest in these kinds of products. <b>We guarantee that we will ship the pre-ordered plushies out no later than July 15, 2007!</b>

Not convinced to pre-order your plushy yet? Here's a picture of the factory prototype:
<img src="http://www.errantstory.com/images/ellisproto2.jpg">

Isn't he adorable? The caption is because it felt wrong to show Ellis without a wise-ass remark. In fact, each plushy comes with a blank speech bubble tag so that you can write your own! It's hard to tell the scale from the picture, but the plush is about a foot long all told, which means he's the perfect size for riding on your shoulder or on top of your head, or for sitting atop your monitor, or for you to cuddle him. In fact, I formed an instant bond with the prototype when it arrived, and promptly made all three of our cats horribly jealous by cuddling it and petting it every time they decided to stay just outside my easy petting reach. We will have more pictures on our forum and in the store description just as soon as we rescue our camera, but for now this is the photo the factory sent us.

A few of you have expressed concern about pre-orders, so I want to be sure to explain that this pre-order works differently than any other pre-order we have ever run in the past. In this case, we have already placed the order for the product, and we have a concrete delivery date from the manufacturer which enables us to <b>guarantee you a ship-by date. </b> There is no uncertainty about delivery time, and no risk of this product ever being cancelled prior to delivery, because the plushies are already pretty much on the way here to our offices. In other words... a pre-order means no risk, and no delay, just a guarantee that you'll get the plush first and for the best price.

Neat. I actually de-lerked to pre-order Ellis, but one will be plenty for me. That is, I won't be waiting around for a rape-kun plushie.

Preorder sent in, Impy. As soon as I wrap my head around the idea of a newer, future month, I'll start waiting for it. Or it'll be July by then and I can go "They're supposed to ship the fifteenth, whee."

I am anxiously waiting until July 15th.

I guess that will give me time to find a place for the plushie. I have such a huge collection already. :-o

I can't change my vote, but I too will be waiting for the Ellis' in the mail.

I wanted one really, really really badly but I do NOT have the money for it now, not even 15 dollars. However, I get my paycheck today. Is it still too late for a pre-order? :-(

Nope! It's not too late, you can pre-order right up until the plushies actually arrive.

And after that, you'll still be able to order one, it just will cost a little more.

In theory, the plushies will be arriving tomorrow, and we'll be processing them and shipping them out all the rest of this week.

I'm so excited!

Due to a delay, the plushies won't be arriving until around 10:30 AM tomorrow.

Which means I get to try to process around 216 plushies for shipment in less than 24 hours. Whee!

Got mine today. I'm seriously impressed with the quality and production values you guys got on these little guys. He's cute, soft, well made, and the little ear tag is a very cool touch.
Bravo guys.

Hurray! I'm really glad to hear that, and I'm sure our manufacturer will be as well.

If you could go ahead and post a review to the store, that'd be awesome!

Hey Impy, I tried ordering an Ellis plushy yesterday (more like two days ago in your time zone) and got a weird sort of 404 error from the web store, and sent you an email, just wondering if you got that cause I haven't heard back. No rush if you're just really busy, I just want to make sure the message got through (I attached a screenshot of what the store did, and I know sometimes attachments screw up emails).
