hi hi

I figured she is just hoping that her father will be like sarine in the "I'm not going to kill you." sense.

I think being around the world at large, especially during Ian's selfless acts of healing, might have given Meji a certain amount of maturity. At the start of the story, Miyo and Meji were quite a lot more similar then they would probably like to admit, but now she's got some hard earned experience.

On the note of Miyo and Meji being similar... Aside from looking older, does anybody else think Meji looks a lot like her mother in the first (er, second?) panel? Sort of a "Miyo when cleaned up and ready for a party/ball/etc", if you aren't taking into account Meji's attitude and pissed-off expression.

To me, it's worth wondering whyshe wants to meet her Dad, not if.

Just meeting him doesn't seem like reason enough to me. What the hell would she say? "Oh, uh, hi, um, thanks for forgetting to use that contraceptive spell..."

I think that Meji has a plan for when she meets him. Based on what she knows about history now, I don't think it'll be a peaceful meeting.

Uhm... What do you mean, he forgot the contraceptive spell?

Meji has a sister?... This is giving me weird images.

I think that Asimperson was refering to the circumstances of Meji's conception.

Yeah, and if _both_ forgot their contraceptive spell, Meji would have a sister...

Um...explain? Would she have a twin sister, or something?

If either of Meji's parents had used a successful contraceptive spell, her mother would not have become pregnant. Obviously, her elven father wasn't around long enough to figure out that her human mother was pregnant, and hasn't been back between then and now, so when would the second impregnation have occured?
