Here are a few pictures of the aftermath of packing up 200 pre-orders for Ellis plushies in a period of just under 24 hours. Okay, so I'm not showing you guys the wreck we made of the house, but I AM showing you the wall of boxes awaiting a trip to the post office... boxes that represent only about half the total orders, since all the international orders and a number of the domestic orders had gone to the post office the day before.

And a bonus picture... our kitten, in one of his rare non-destructive moods, helping Poe work:

aaawww, how cute is that!

also i can't possibly believe that the kittens placement isn't disruptive, on some level.

Cats LOVE to help their humans for whatever reason. We tend to get helpers around the litterboxes and for anything you happen to be doing on the floor- my sister tends to get at least one cat rubbing all over her when she's trying to exercise, which is really funny. It's rather hard to do yoga AND shoo cats away at the same time.

Cat seems a bit like Ellis's inspiration :)

Thank you, Poe, for taking in a black cat and keeping it. Not to soapbox, but BBD (big black dogs) and LBC (little black cats) rarely get adopted for very long because people "find them unappealing".

I have one lbc and one bbd, and they're fantastic friends, and my constant companions.

I gonna have to try to convince my cat for a picture with it, to post that here.
