Ah yes. Good to know I'm not the only one that watches The Chin-ed One on "Burn Notice." If you don't you should. On USA Network.

Ludicrous premise, good writing, a touch of Miami Vice and McGyver, Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless in support. Never miss it.

USA Network is acting kinda sorta like it wants to be the new old SciFi channel... it's doing a pretty good job of blending geeky stuff with the mainstream, without showing mostly crap. It's also working hard to integrate the TV audience with an internet audience. Though I don't touch the websites, I watch a lot of its shows... Monk, Psych, The 4400, and Burn Notice.

Cable TV= Impy's secret vice. Mostly because it's a flat fee per month and doesn't require her to put on shoes and drive somewhere in order to take a break from work and turn off her brain.

Ah, turning one's mind off...

http://dieoff.org/page24.htm

Sadly it's no longer the #1 link on Google for "brainwashing" but it's still 7th, so not too bad.

Not trying to completely assault television, but I thought it was interesting and impy's comment reminded me of it ;)
