I would imagine the townspeople would be freaking out about now with a flying angel visiting town.

His ears...

EDIT: And I just took another look at the last panel of http://www.errantstory.com/archive.php?date=2007-03-07 (thank-you wiki). I can't believe I didn't notice that then.

Ok, I feel confident making some speculation in light of this; Ian simply isn't in the driver's seat. The goals being pursued now are not Ian's goals. That means agenda point #1 for an activated Elven Deity in the Errant Story universe is to head on down to the temple of Luminosita and lay down some dakka. Theft, Assault, or Jail-break?

Judging from the view angle in the last panel I'd say it's Ian flying like a torpedo towards the dome.

is it just me, or does it look like he is quite literaly cracking up.... like Anilis is about ready to bust right on out of him leaving just an empty smoking husk... Not that it wouldn't be cool as hell... but he certianly seems worse for wear...

Also does it seem that his ears are abit more.... Elfish than usual, I don't recall them being that big.

Yes, Ian seems to be a lot the worse for wear.

That should have been the thread title.

Not too many further clues though.

It never hurts to quote from "Conan."

I think the original anecdote is attributed to Ghengis Khan. (but it was indeed in Conan)

True and true. It was actually the first complete sentence Ahnold speaks in the film.

Yeah, Ian is turning into something nasty, there. If that isn't Anilis in control, it is Ian beset by a god's madness. Grief will do that to a person.
