Ok, so it was a beam and Luminosita apparently isn't much more than amorphous ball of energy much like Anilis was.

Somebody mentioned he saw nuckles, and although I didn't agree I made a mention of it being a beam.

Well, looks like someone in that church knows what they're doing. Ian, of course, will be making his comeback any second now.

It's funny how they call him "lord", like he has a gender. He's just energy controlled by their magic.

This thread fails for not being titled "Pokegod, I choose you!"

Always someone claiming the thread title fails for not being what they had in mind, much like there will always be religions claiming your unending torment for not being one of the faithful.

how about this: it doesn't fail and you don't go to hell~

Pillaroforder's thread titles and initial post content always fail, they lack any for of imagination or wit, even by subjective standards.

... as Ian rises from the rubble and says "I Just Wanted to Know". I don't know, but I want to know what he wants to know... err anyway. I guess his question will tell whether or not he's controlled.

Now the real question is, will Ian's godly powers work to protect his clothes much like other superhero miracle cloth.

I loathe Pokemon, so there won't be any references from me, ever.

The guard should probably be shot for bringing Luminosita - that's a major overreaction to Ian's break-in since he hasn't shown that much magical power yet.

This reminds me of the Elven soldiers sent in to deal with Ian and Meji a number of chaptes ago. A couple of buildings got wrecked and it wasn't Ian's fault. Now we're going to see the same thing repeat itself on a WMD level, because if we are talking about a god-battle brewing, then the city is unlikely to survive.

Ian arrived flying, and bringing a thunderstorm. Then he destroyed buildings and sent people scattering and panicking, all without appearing to need to work at it.

The record for flight in Tsuiraku is a wobbly three minutes or something, and these people don't habitually practice magic on anything even remotely like the level Ian's showing. Even their monks can't openly practice magic too often; their populace thinks magic is evil, remember? I'm guessing that right now, Ian's PLENTY scary enough to justify calling up Luminosita.

Just because we as the audience are used to more powerful stunts than Ian's, doesn't mean the characters are.

If it does have a gender, I've always thought of it more as a she. Probably because it ends in -a, which in Latin denotes the feminine.

Still, they refer to it as "him".

Wonder why that is?

That was no beam. That was a huge godly mancock.

Ian just got dickslapped.

...and I TOTALLY joined just to say that.

He's pining for the fjords . . . er, the dessicated, barren gulchs and wadis . . . of his homeland.
