i think she's out to kill him, she came there with a purpose, and said that the recent murders would only make her job easier.

even if he's not the murderer of the girls, sarine is going to kill him and perhaps inform the town that she got rid of the murderer.

i think he did it though, and that he's been dangerous for quite a while and its sarine has to get rid of him.

i still have crazy theories as to why she cares enough to kill him. does she take it upon herself to eradicate all crazy part-elves? does she have some connection to him that makes him her responsibity (he could be a direct descendent of her, if not from that daughter born 2k years ago, perhaps another)?
