This image is just amazing. I was wondering how she was going to kill him... and now I know.

I do like the fact that today's comic is already in color. It enhances everything. It makes for so much more than it could have been in black and white...

And yes... finally some serious violence.
---
I dont remember if it was this thread or not, but I dont think that the townspeople are going to do anything. When Sarine went inside, everyone stopped to look at her. Others in town were watching her too... I dont think that they knew she was an elf at the time, but it is quite possible. Her reputation preceeds her in this town. They knew what she was going to do, or at least had a pretty good idea.

My other reason for thinking that no one is going to do anything is the bartender. She paid him a good bit of money and Im pretty sure that they werent coppers and silvers. And the bartender readily pointed out the guy to her.

Ahh good old fashioned violence. And hey, Sarine is skilled at two handed fighting, a sign of a true bad ass...

Gotta love the Hiroaki Samura tribute in the style that it was done.

I'm not so sure. This angle does make it look like she slashed his throat. However, from the blood patterns on the sides of his head, she could have also taken only his ears off. A little not-so-subtle justice for those who betray their elven heritage, hmm?

That would take somewhat of a vertical swing with the swords... her swing is horizontal. She went for the throat...

The head wasn't severed- it's HARD to sever a head, the spine isn't easy to cut through. Also, at that angle, the blades (unless magic) would most likely slide off after hitting his spine. Still dead, but his head ain't falling off.

Fight? I wouldn't call this a fight. It was an execution. A serving of justice it would seem to me. And if my opinions and theories are correct, and I belive they are, it was well deserved.

Wow. Now the strip's starting to heat up. That was really amazingly well drawn.

I dunno whether this was justice or not though. Maybe she really did kill all those guys.

Justice or not, it'll be hell to get those stains out of anything it lands on. Blood sticks to clothing, which is why you should always terminate at RANGE, or with incindiary/energy weapons.

Following in the Eronarn's train of thought about the physics of severing a head, I must add that she must be incredibly flexible, to get both legs above the table from a seated position (also, that cloak - seems to be defying physics by streaming out behind her, when it should be angling towards the chair's back).

Then again, I'm being pointlessly nitpicky, so this post should probably be ignored.
