Or it could be the fact that humans fear Elves because of their own insecurities and the lack of understanding for them. Or it could just be that a lot of Elves are skilled assasins.

Or it could be that they just saw her cut the guy down in one motion and are now just realizing, "oh, she's an elf, that explains it."

A skilled human could have done that too. Though they would probably just throw the wooden table aside and plant the knife in the guys throat. =)

Well, the point was that with the evidence plainly in front of them, prejudice is not a factor. I'm just stating the obvious.
