I think my comic needs an animal lkike that...

What's the best animal for a comic... a lot of people have cats... hey maybe like a small bobcat or something... that would be cool

This whole scene actually reminded me a lot of Serena (or Usagi, for you purists) arguing with her stupid cat over being a ditz and failing all her classes.

Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like the cat has wings. That'd be pretty cool, and relatively demonic.

Maybe cats are born with wings the that universe. Plus Ellis talks. Could be someone magicked into the winged cat form? Or a weird series of events that caused Ellis to be created?

or meji's familiar..which are usually demons aren't they? my money's on the Nall clone premise. i really wanted to stab that goddamn cat sometimes...bu then he'd res me in battle, so i wanted to buy him a tuna. two things the game did not have options for.

A familiar might work, considering her mage-ness. The critter reminds me of Nall quite a bit though, the face is almost exactly the same if you look at it in the gallery pictures... As for Meji, I'd love to start a fan club... I think she's nifty, hell, I thought she was kickass before the comic even started! There's just something about her... and then her chapter title "Psychotic Mage Chick" ... and those cute fangs she has when she smiles. *giggle*

Is this cat male? Female smartass cats seem to fall in love with male humanoids in anime. There was Ruby, for one, and then there had been Luna before that.

If you ask me, I think that the fact that the cat can talk makes it like 12X cooler. I think that whatever animal I make, it'll definately speak... dunno how though since my comic is more or less realistic. Oh well time will tell... Sluggy started realistic. I'm all for a cat as a main character.

Don't think it is a demon winged cat. familiars don't always have to be demons. could be Meji just enhanced Ellis' INT. might explain the talking.
