Does anyone else think she's about to devise a spell for channelling/borrowing/stealing the power of a god? Prehaps something like Lina's Dragonslave (Okay, Shabrinigdu isn't really a god, but close enough)?

Which would actually be a win-win project: either it impresses Yukiri enough to get an A, or it doesn't (some people are never satisfied) and she challenges the faculty with it (earning her 'psycho mage chick' title along the way).

That's of course assuming it works right--perhaps it'll summon Lord Naughtius instead. Or just channel his perversion, er power.

That's a cool theory. It actually makes a lot of sense. And speaking of Meiji:

Doesn't it freak anyone out that she's the Cute orphans and kittens poster girl?

Did all the contributions to Exploitation Now get funneled into a creativity generator that upgraded her into a Hyper-powerful Super Mage and her cat into a winged, sentient familiar? Do not attempt to deny that she is the orphan with the kitty.

I believe that (what Gearbox said, that is) has already been pointed out in several other threads (read: look at the other threads first before posting!)

However, the first was an interesting idea, although that seems a bit unlikely, because if anyone could do that, then there would be no point in being powerful, because anyone could just suck your power away.

Well, looks like that's not what she had in mind. I don't have any idea how she's going to turn into a demi-god, though. Apparently other people have tried

Heh, Kefka wannabe....

Personally, I don't believe she could channel a God. I'm thinking it's more along the lines of configuring some form of oblivion spell, or some sort. Or perhaps a physical and magical augmentation spell, making one physically and magically impervious. That'd be valuable. And certainly impressive, as one could simply punch the entire faculty out, should they have a decent enough barrier between them and the opposing spells.

i'm thinking she's going to go for a combination of an absolute immunity, empower self, wish and permanency spell to make her basically impervious and all powerful

Actually, it's Bleys. Eric had black hair, and a more pronounced chin. Bleys was one of the redheads. ^_~ And yeah, it's a beautiful series, dude. Brand was the best villain ever.

Doesn't it make you feel old?

Sorry, but I feel like I should point out something here. Shouldn't it be 'demigoddess'? As well, 'all-powerful' doesn't jive with the 'demi':

Main Entry:demigod

1 : a mythological being with more power than a mortal but less than a god

So, it would probably make the most sense that she would become an 'all-powerful goddess' or something along those lines.

If you're going to be a nitpicker, you should be prepared to be nitpicked in turn.

If you're going to be a nitpicker-picker, the fact that God appeared to Moses as a burning bush and got Mary preggers via means other than a good country doing clearly indicates she is female.

Ah, you're doing the "let's pretend the Judeo-Christian 'God' is the only being to whom the term 'god' has ever been applied" bit again. Bad. Theocentric. Naughty.

God is used for God because it is what He/She/It is known as, a god can be termed as anything with celistial power or ability. Also it falls into the thesis as to wether you belive in multiple gods or just one, majority is the latter, especially in fantasy, but a lot belive in one all powerful god, God, which means there are no other gods (apply if Christian).

It's all just kooky madness from those religious types (of which i pray there are none here)

And then we can sit back and watch the Catholics, Protestants, Jews, and Muslims scream at each other for a thousand years or so about which One True God is the True One True God, eh?
