well, there could be more than one lead character....and those could, i'm going out on a limb here, have different backgrounds, and even, they might not even have met. Aside from that then Poe is giving us some knowledge about the main char's persona. And just because we have an elf and a halfelf doesn't mean their related, yet the halfelf background could make Sarine more sympathetic towards her....if they ever meet

If I'm allowed to guess, I would say that Sarine Errant-slayer and Maji Possibly-Errant will be set up as enemies.

If half-elves has a reputation for going bonkers (as was speculated in another thread), claiming world domination as your term project is probably not a good idea. It might give people the wrong idea. Or the right idea, as the case might be.

For some reason I can't get it into my skull that Meji could be evil. It seems like it'll be one of those "Hey, get out of my body" moments, where Meji and an evil demon both inhabit her body, each sharing time.

Yeah, let me say this before it's too late:
Do not take your coming initiation the wrong way, it makes nOObs look bad. Do not say something like "good job, you just killed my clone" after your initiation. They are all in good fun, and usually show that you are worth the time of writing an initiation for...I would do it myself, but I don't feel that I've earned the privilage to initiate nOObs yet...

I don't *think* it's been tried, though. Usually, the initiate doesn't know that it's coming and never has time to react =)
