Well, it's normally a bad idea to make such requests to dragons/ dragon like creatures, as they tend to have a bad habit of snacking on things that bother them. That, or just ripping a large chunk out. (If they don't like the taste)

Actually....my clarity of mind is the last thing to go. I've trained myself too well to lose much clarity of thought over something as minor as a little loss of sleep.
what happens instead is I don't have quite as much control over myself as normal (not as much guarding of personal thoughts, I tend to be a very private person), and later as the lack of sleep drags on I start losing balance somewhat, but my mind stays mostly clear.
Well, and my attention span goes down a little. Can't stay awake in boring classes when tired at all...
