And I must say, Poe, I'm quite impressed. I mean, more than usual. If that's possible. What I mean is, that's a lovely amount of backstory (backdrawing?) development for a character who (at this moment at least) seems not to be a dweller in the limelight. Always great to see that one's admiration for an artist is well-placed. Though you certainly don't need one more person saying it given all your other fans on this forun, bravo!

Note the fact that she lacks the point elven ears. That kinda tips it off, with a sack of potatoes and all. Remember, she's a mage, and magical users always seem to age more slowly than normal.

Actually, openly bragging about reaching the clever git clause I believe earns you an initiation, but since you're asking an innocent question(and don't sound like bragging/showing off) I don't think you'll fall under the "cancel" clause of the Clever git clause.

In theory, asking for a DNI should just get you initiated straight away... But I'm a lazy bastard, and you haven't done anything wrong that I can think of... yet.

Actually, I think Meiji hates her mom because of some funny thing that her mom did earlier, which is not mentioned by Poe. (Or perhaps just because she's a kid that wasn't meant to be born.) Or maybe her mom is just this really mellow "hippie" type person who doesn't care about her much, just hangs around and listens to music or something, so Meiji hates her for that. Or perhaps she's this b*tch that is normal and nice, but when she gets drunk or high or something she turns into this terror who beats up on Meiji or something.

Everyone assumes the one at fault is Meji's mom... What if it was the opposite?

Meji's mom was a nice women who fell in love with an elf and they had a baby. but due to circumstances the father left. So here we have Meji who is raised without a father; All the kids teased her because she didn't have a daddy, the human kids wouldn't play with her cause she was too elf looking, and the Elves wouldn't play with her cause she was too human looking

Thus she takes out her anger on her mom calling her a slut when deep down she knows her mom loved her father
