Found EN through looking up a website for anime art. Was curious for a webcomic to be called Exploitation Now so I checked it out. As for the first comic I saw, not sure but I believe it was around the time cthulu was coming out the toilet.

As for looking up anime art, i never got into drawing anime. Look at my avatar, not very animeish is it hehe.

More bloodshed? More violence? More spells? This should keep me awake at work.

Came across EN in a post at ShackNews back when it was still sCary's ShugaShack. Somewhere after Bimbo and Ralph moved into Jordan's building, I believe. Been reading ever since...

Unlike some people who come here, old boy, I maintain no illusions that I will earn a DNI. Not only will I fail to be surprised should I be initiated, but should an initiation happen, I damn well intend to get a nice, violent one.

Why? Because if its worth doing, its worth doing it right, or some such.

Just admit it! You confused "DNI" (or Do Not Initiate) with "Initiation", and then got incredible lucky. Either that or you're God. I won't take that chance.

I have a whore of a friend who got me hooked to MT, among many others, and while I was catching up on the MT archives, what little they were, he direct my to go to EN. I joined up somewhere shortly after they moved in with Jordan, don't remember exactly when, though.

Hrmm... Looong time ago. Was reading MegaTokyo. Saw a banner ad for EN (The "32% cheesecake" one...), thought to myself "cheesecake? wtf kind of comic is 32% dessert? *sigh* Started reading (forget where, though ), got like a week or two's worth in, and was like "ohhh, duh, that kind of cheesecake... I was so naieve back then...

I was going to do that, also 'cos he pretty much deserves one anyway. But then that would mean i got involved with the whole initiation scene and i assumed someone would follow me and do it anyway. Looks like i was right.

hmm I was looking at megatokyo after a long break from it when I saw a little button saying featured webcomics and in it I found several including errant story after looking at the first page (in story order) I was like wow this is like better than l337 was 2 years ago and immediately began reading through it I mean come on the idea of war between elves and humans is much more likely to happen than the eutopian society most fantasies portray face it elves are a pious ignorant race humans are just as arrogant and cocky and therefore are likely to end up in a war with such a race based on pride as the elves.

My brother turned me onto Mac Hall awhile ago,I saw a banner for Explotation Now(after it was over) then kept looking back to see about the book and saw the link he set up.
