...that matey-boy is sara's 'master'? [and if you'v lived under a rock, i'm referring to star-wars.]

Either that or she's a partner in crime, i mean fellow monk.

Yeh, he seems a little too young to qualify for the master title. (Unless Poe is taking us back to Sara's 'padwan' days, to continue the analogy.)

So my bet is either a partner or some sort of competitor.

definatly a close raltion as they both dress the same, and use the same weapon.

maybe he gives her that weapon, or he dies and she uses it to avange him or what not, as it doesn't seem like the kind of thing you make more than one of.

what are you talking about? They guy is living on his own bite-sized planet, just like the Little Prince.

The planetoid will obviously crash into the planet of the ES storyline and kill everyone soon.

Well, from what I know so far (which isn't really much), I would agree with the 'fellow-assassin-monk'-theory. Altough I don't really speculate much, prefer to just let the story unravel in due time.

Really, people, just read Sara's FPL page- unlike Meji's, it doesn't really contain potential spoilers, just background info. In fact it ends, more or less, at the exact spot where the comic picks up. Think of it as a mini-prequel

--Slight potential spoilers below--

Anyway, unless Poe *really* likes reusing windmills as a setting, I'm pretty sure this is the same scenario from the last section of the FPL page. Sara is in the mill, about to rudely interrupt a secret meeting between a couple members of the Wraiths Gewehr, a mercenary-and-assassination gang, of sorts, that Sara's Order has it in for. The fellow with the watch is most likely Warrel, the older monk Sara is apprenticed to (the FPL page made him sound older than he looks in the comic, but then, Sara's pretty young). It seems a fair assumption, given that he has a magical staff of the same type as Sara's. I would guess that the watch is to time how long she takes to finish the job, as a test. He may also be timing so that, if too much time passes, he can bust in to extricate her from any trouble she might be in with the Wraiths (then again, maybe not... the Ensigerum Order's training methods seem to be a bit harsh) The FPL page makes no mention of Warrel actually being there at the time (in fact, it refers to it as a "solo exercise") but it doesn't say he wasn't, either. In any case, I think the comic is going to stick close enough to the script that we can expect a bit of butt-kicking in the near future...

(And I do highly recommend reading the FPL page. Ass-kicking is always more fun when you've got some background information on it. And note that the mill is to the south of Saus. I'm leaning more towards the single-timeline theory with each comic  *tickets! Get yer tickets for the Meji-Sarine showdown! Now going for 10 GP!*)

Triple Ditto. Lot more plausible then some of the other guesses floating around.
