Yeah, it's been a while since I read the archive, but didn't pretty much everyone in Tsuiraku have Japanese-sounding names? I mean, Meji's professor was named *Yukiri*, for Ralph's sake!

Um... the same reason english people have english names and asian people have asian names?

So does this make Sara a foreigner somehow?

No, because Meji's in Tsuiraku, and Sara's in Saus.

Two different places, with two separate languages.

That's what Poe means.

You know, I have to wonder if Poe is sick or something, that was a fairly direct answer to our pondering that he gave, only mildly cryptic.

Do we actually know that this windmill is in Saus? Particularly since this seems to be a lush area, but the probably-nearby town Sarine was last seen in looked like a desert town out of the Dark Tower novels.

I do think this windmill *is* near Saus, though.

Big assumption.
There aren't exactly a lot of reference points we can see, or have seen to tell us where the heck that windmill is other in the middle of farm country on the edge of a mountain range.

What? Doesn't it make sense to have one on the farm? No middle man. You just grind your wheat yourself and sell it to whoever. errr, or am i completely mixing up my internal memories on what they were actually used for.

It's to the south of Saus. This series of strips is obviously the same as the FPL page (which people should just read, and quit whining about, since it stops at this exact point...)

Oh, and Rae, I'll take 10 kilos. (What? Flour's cheap... :)

Maybe because we like an element of surprise in our stories?

My point was that there *are* no suprises in the FPL page, just background info. We already know that Sara drops in on some thugs and ruins their day- that's where the FPL page leaves off. If you want to know a bit of the backstory on Sara and the Wraiths, you can, but if you don't, don't complain because people who have note the similarities and differences.

in dry areas windmills on farms were (are) mainly used as irrigation pumps. They are also used as drainage pumps in soggy areas like swamps and in Denmark. Modern uses include energy production.
