Not according to the official site.

Read it and weep.

It's not a double post - there are two different messages.

Actually one of the quotes shown in the video already misquotes it as "Somebody set us up the bomb".

And as for using the "edit" function: Neil has too much experience on the Keenspot boards, where using "edit" is a major PITA and an invitation for weird effects in the database.

That's right. The voice and the subtitle differ.

Hey, I still am. When I feel bad, I don't get a sudden impulse to go shopping, so I must have different hormones from those who do :)

I've never understood that whole "I'm depressed, QUICK to the minivan! There's a sale at the mall!" mentality. I mean, why is spending what little money I have on things I don't need or even really want supposed to make me feel better?

Chocolate, on the other hand...

Heh, reminds how a friend of mine once told me that I'll sometimes get an orgasmic expression on my face whenever I'm eating really good chocolate, or any pastry with enough sugar to kill a mountain goat.

Back when I used to work at a daycare center, me and a friend once spent about an hour sitting at a bus stop eating german chocolate cake and sharing a pint of Ben & Jerry's. In retrospect, we probably would have had more fun had it not been freezing cold, but hey, can't have everything.

To each her or his own. I consider chocolate to be the greatest culinary invention since sliced bread, even though I think chocolate may have come first.... um ........... yeah.

No, there's not. But some guys can still be decent and don't have to act on what their penis is telling them to do.

Actually, no. The cocoa bean was first used for its flavor by the Aztecs, who first appeared around 1200 CE, but didn't really have an empire to speak of until around 1325 CE. They used it for a drink they called "chocolatl" (Aztec for "warm liquid"), but as this is a drink and as we are talking about chocolate in solid form (which, for the purposes of the argument, we are), we must jump ahead to 1847 CE, when an English company first introduced "eating chocolate," otherwise known as fondant chocolate (milk chocolate appeared about twenty to thirty years later).

On the other hand, bread has been around for at least 8,000 years. Archaeologists have discovered millstones dating back to to this time, with which early man ground corn, barley and wheat to make solid cakes. Actual baked loaves date to over 5,000 years ago in the Egyptian empire. The first implements capable of cleanly slicing bread (edged bronze tools, by my reckoning) appeared about 500 years later. Because of these facts, is not unreasonable to assume that sometime during or after this era (but BEFORE 1847 CE and for that matter, 1325 CE), a loaf of bread was cut into pieces, or "sliced," for one reason or another pertaining to consumption.

THEREFORE, sliced bread came before chocolate.
