Just thought that I'd update folks on the next upcoming local-ish con. Poe and I are working on getting to Ohayocon for folks, but won't be able to unless we can get an artist's table there. Or unless we can get a discounted dealer's table, I suppose, though I doubt they'd offer since Poe isn't a guest. Apparently, they've had all the information about said tables buried in their forum for this entire time that I've been checking their website. Which is about the least efficient system I can think of for an outsider to try to use, since the conversational nature of most forums makes it next to bloody impossible to tell what is or isn't official information. Not to mention having to wade through typical convention fanling babble in order to find it in the first place. However, now that I've found out where it is I've e-mailed the person in charge, but it could very well be too late as it's awfully close to the con. So, it may very well be too late for us to get a table, in which case we won't be able to go. Which, since I've been trying their website since September and planning around our attendance, has annoyed me greatly, as those sales would have been very nice to have in that whole "we have to make a living" way. Oh well. We'll just have to wait and see. ^-^' |
