It costs like £10, who cares? I'll go and buy the sequal as well :D Also, I needed a new gaming interest anyway. I just finished HW2 for the 3rd time so I'm getting desperate

Was necrophilia in any way involved?

Given our thief's propensity to shove her breasts head-first at any problems she doesn't know how to deal with, I'd say that it was a definate maybe.

Didn't we all vote to turn our thief into a zombie, too?

But then she got +2 against zombies...

Me vegetarian zombie.......graaaaaaains.

And, one of the best things to ever come up in my group was a candy store owned by a fat wizard in a party town. He had a giant animated gummy village, with little gummy villagers doing little gummy tasks. And every day at four, little gummy orcs would raid the little gummy villagers, and the little gummy villagers would grab little gummy pitchforks and fight them off. Lots of orcs in the town would show up to watch the action.

As far as funny moments go, I will always have to love my diplomacy-based( and 40 hp) bard saying to an angry dragon "Get your filthy claws off of me, you gigantic flying lizard", and living to tell the tale......even if the rest of the party wasn't so lucky.

I did do a bit of DnD once but it soon decended into making our sons wrestle each other to death while nude. Then the DM got all pissy and made us face constant bandit attacks. It was funny at the time but I suspect that had less to do with the quality of gameplay and more the quality of the beer.

Now I miss playing NWN. D: I'm no good at finding good modules, though, so I've kind of run out of things to play.

The current plan for NWN2 is that Skjie is getting a new computer, and I am getting his old (but still perfectly good and useable) computer, and then we'll both be able to play. :-?

I hang out on a persistant world, so you get your dose of fun and "normal" RP. I'm thinking about making a drow so I can run into the nearest town and get killed on sight. Perhaps yelling something about being a "GOOD DROW RANGER" before dying horribly.

In one of our games, my bardbarian got set up on a blind date with a half-orc who had Exotic Weapon Proficiency in both "Table" and "Gnome"... and had the opportunity to employ both feats in one encounter.

In another campaign, our bardruid wound up in a vampire sandwich.

The quantity was surprisingly low. 10.8% Belgian import :D

Yeah, that sounds about right. Sigh.

Unfortunately, our DM is planning on (one of these years) moving to Germany. I'm offering to take over, but my DMing skills are the rusty, so I'm reading 'Dungeons and Dragons for Dummies' since it's the only way I appear to be able to cope with the absolute lack of thac0 in the newest ruleset.

I just joined the forums to say if anyone's interested in a Planescape setting server for NWN1 any of you are welcome to come try it out. Gatecrashers is a persistant world based in the Outlands. We have several planes to visit. If anyone's interested I could provide screenshots.

Bah, just make the group learn the old rules.

Blackthorn (semi-generic fighter) when explaining how he got the armor of the local lord's son, note that the player was drunk. "IT CAME FROM THE GROUND."

A doppelganger has attacked the party, apparently there is another, we keep getting separated and even though he let us use "church" the first few times he then remembered that we had never ever even thought of a doppelganger word.

Handsome Jack: (Leon the mage is fighting against the doppelganger) "Who stole your magic ring?"
Leon: "You did you bastard."

Bud: "How many innocent men have you killed?"
Handsome Jack: "Well, I don't think they were really innocent..."
Bud: "That's him."

Ah, Neverwinter Nights. How I used to frequent that. Mainly the Underdark Adventures modules (I, II, and III.), and the offspring of it, which have names that escape me.

I miss those days. Oh well.
