That they haven't acted means Jon could have killed the guy. Which would make the Ensigerum's position with the veracian church even worse. Anita made a show of how bad-ass they are, made the priests put one of themselves up as bait for a trap, and then the wraith's killed the guy. It doesn't matter if they manage to stop him after the priest is dead. They should stop him before the killing.

A funny thought that just occured to me is 'what if the monks are expecting Jon to shoot from outside the building?'. They might think the wraiths are going to use the same strategy as before (shooter on a rooftop) and be waiting there while Jon kills the mark and tries to get away. Hell, they might not even know about magically silenced rifles.

That's a bad fantasy; Imagine instead a very thin, but well trained guy sitting on his bed wearing nothing but a semi-transparent night skirt as he slowly strokes the nether regions of his precious Sarine doll.

There's been often times where I've wished to be able to see the inner thoughts of other people. This is definately not one of them.

There have rarely been times when I've wished to be able to project the inner thoughts of other people into still other people's minds for a variety of generally unsavory reasons. I can't think of a better other person #1 than Labrat.

Projecting Labrat's thoughts into someone's mind would be cruel torture. Even satan wouldn't do such a thing.
