Either Jon and Sarine dumped all their weapons in the heat of passionate disrobing, or they realized the futility of fighting a time-fugue monk and surrendered to Warrell.

Now its up to the gagged cat to save the day.

Just so long as they leave the living dead in their wake. Can't say I'm getting a good feeling from the tone of the artwork, though. And Jon had his choice, and he pulled the trigger. It's his life to lose.

She says I'm okay; I'm alright,
Though you have gone from my life
You said that it would,
Now everything should be all right

Further edit, after 10 minutes of Flogging Molly: Or they're all going die. Sarine, Jon and Warren.

Looking a couple strips back, the durus flamma weapon looks a lot (identical) like Warrel's (and therefore, Sara's). So, Jon, Sarine and Sara's weapons lying together, and a title "If I ever leave this world alive"? I'm guessing during this chapter Warrel is toast and Jon and Sarine pick up Sara.

This would lead to all three of them being eventually hunted by their respective organization. The monks don't like having people with monk skills if they don't demonstrate subservience to the order. The Gewerh won't be happy unless Jon either dies or kills the priest, and his window of opportunity dissapeared (or more accuratly, was bulletproof). And the elves will eventualy figure out that Sarine isn't cooperating with them and wants to find their missing god by her lonesome.

So, the three characters are on their own, hunted by forces beyond them, and one would imagine the backstory is strong enough to bind them together. In any case, I'd love to see the story go in that direction.

This sounds highly likely and I'd love to see it go this way. Jon and Sarine pick up Sara and they all go hunting up Meji and Ian. In the course of that, the Goddess does her thing, the Gewehr does theirs, and monks go nutz inna barrel. :D :D

Flogging Molly: If I ever Leave this World alive.

If I ever leave this world alive

I'll thank for all the things you did in my life

If I ever leave this world alive

I'll come back down and sit beside your

feet tonight

Wherever I am you'll always be

More than just a memory

If I ever leave this world alive

If I ever leave this world alive

I'll take on all the sadness

That I left behind

If I ever leave this world alive

The madness that you feel will soon subside

So in a word don't shed a tear

I'll be here when it all gets weird

If I ever leave this world alive

So when in doubt just call my name

Just before you go insane

If I ever leave this world

Hey I may never leave this world

But if I ever leave this world alive

She says I'm okay; I'm alright,

Though you have gone from my life

You said that it would,

Now everything should be all right

Flogging Molly Rocks.

It is good!

Or that Poe is about to heavily develop the Ian/Meji plotline, add more POV characters, and establish the meta-plot from the loose threads he's thrown out there in the past 500 or so strips. And that "Team Enabler" (Jon, Sarine, and Warrel) just became redundant, and its time for them to take an exit in a flurry of bloodshed, gunfire, and flashing blades.

Poe was awesome in EN for killing off a major character because no one saw it coming. Now? Everyone would see it coming, and half the board is predicting it. It's becoming almost boring, lest Poe fall into the trap that Rowling did.

"GUYS I KILLED SOMEONE AT THE END OF MY LAST THREE BOOKS, WHO CAN I KILL NOW?!?!?!" :v

Ugh. Needless to say I hope it doesn't happen. But I have much faith in the man so I don't think it will.

Am I the only one wanting Sarine/Sara/Jon action?
a.k.a. Sarine's plan to get Jon and Sara to make up.

Hey, I might find my own sister gross (or probably would, if I had a sister), but what Jon wants to do with his sister is just between him and my camera.

The picture appears to have lost its vertical hold. A small bit of the bottom is posted above the top, and a bit of the top is visable below the bottom, as if the image was "tiled" into a space larger than the image. I've refreshed and tried viewing the page on a different browser. Could be corrupted image, could be server, could be my internet. Does anyone else see this?

It's called Artistic License. He meant to do that, and that's something you can take to the bank.

There is nothing wrong with your television set.
Do not attempt to adjust the picture.
We are controlling the transmission.
If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume.
If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper.

We will control the horizontal.

We will control the vertical.

We can roll the image; make it flutter.
We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity.

For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to the Outer Limits.

I love that intro sequence. Absolutely love it.

Yeah, too bad the actual show is a bad rip off of the twilight zone.

Have you ever seen the original? Actual science fiction, despite admittedly overwrought melodramatic scripts. Not dependent on trick endings, but plenty of aliens and some serious thought behind the stories. Included good work by Harlan Ellison and a few other people who actually knew something about the topic.

Unlike, say, Eureka or most current horror, which is put together by the usual TV hacks who ducked their science classes in college and aced all their Cliche 101 series courses.
