sounds like an Ellis comment, he's deserves some pain for that.

However, it does sound like somone died....

This also being my first first new comic thread. I suddenly feel much less mature......

So we now have Ian with god like powers and no more purpose.
Well goodbye neighborhood.

Nah... now we get to see if Ian can bring people back from the dead. And not in that creepy brain-eating zombie way.

I seem to recall someone from Tsuiraku wanting to try just such a thing a while back, and trying to get powers just like Ian has to do it, and the whole incident having a a whole lot of far-reaching repercussions that are still unfolding to this day. Should be interesting to see how this pans out.

And the question now is: did sis finally kick the bucket, or did mom kill herself? Or one and then the other?

Let's see ...

Bookies have the odds on his sister being dead of her progressive degenerating ailments at 3:1. In this case, Ian goes ballistic and levels the entire continent, starting with the village.

Bookies have the odds on his mother being dead of clinical depression at 5:1. In this case, he gives her a nice funeral and heals his sister or tries to.

There is a 7:1 darkhorse shot that his mother, in a fit of depression, mercy-killed his sister and then killed herself. In which case, were are back to leveling the entire continent.

Um, rather than someone dying, aren't they are quibbling over who has to tell Ian that they are lovers so Ian no longer has a chance at Riley? (as if he ever did...)

I'm putting my money on "Ian, you're never tapping this ass, she's my dickgirl," if only because the whole scene started with:

"FUCK!"

"Not now..."

I'm really surprised the rest of you didn't pick up on this, given the typical train of thought around here.

Doesn't mean they aren't talking about his family, but the innuendo is certainly there. For shame.

:-? Yup. Had an uncle who used to start every conversation just like Ian did.

:-( He wasn't very popular around town.

Regardless of the news, I wonder if Ian is too far gone at this point to react to anything. He might assume that its okay, since he can bring them back to life again with his new sooper-dooper powrz. He seems pretty tripped out the last couple of strips. It must be the acid kicking in.

My first thought was that they were going to tell him that Leah was preggers (from the unfounded speculation from previous comics).

But I'm thinking the sister died. Makes more sense plot wise and with the dialogue.

Dickgirl grope for the win.

Spec U LATER!

Maybe they don't want to tell him that they're (potentially) lesbian hussies (does that dick make her look fat?) and they're getting it on. After all, Ian clearly has a thing for halfers.

Or, somebody done died and he gone find out now and go all ape shit.

Not to disappoint anyone or squash their hopes for future yaoi ES action, but Ian said he used to have a crush on Riley when he was a kid, and then finally someone told him about Riley's..."Errant thing".

I'm not really sure how they could be talking about anything other than Ian's sister dying.

For some reason, I expected the topic title to be, "Not now, I'm busy driving the wagon." I suppose I should expect that level of circumspectness around here...

Um, I know Ian absorbed little miss Anilis, but who in the world is saying he can level continents? He got all kinds of screwed up just from flying around a bit. I think battling a continent full of riflemen, mages, time ninjas, etc etc etc, not to mention quite a few elves out looking for him, might be just a tad bit more tiring.

And, I suppose I am the only one who read the "Hiya Riley! Hiya Riley's winkie!" as him saying hi to Leah as well, and thus still being an utterly clueless bastard, because he seems like the kind of person to not know what winkie means?

Yeah, in retrospect that seems pretty dumb. Ignore it.
