Yes, it would have, but if we already have a zillion comic boards, what is one more that will actually be used?

An excellent point.

I really liked her as a character. I'm saddened by the loss of her.

Much love.

I read it last night. I cried. Made me think.

*le sigh*

What did he want to talk to her about anyway?

That he had the beginnings of Alzeimers. (Altimers? I can never remember how to spell that.)

I'm so happy to see this forum. When I read that last night, I wanted to talk to someone about it, but everyone was frickin' asleep.

Kudos to Randy. I mean, it hurt, but it was masterfully done. I didn't see it coming at all.

I like this comic, so having a fan board isn't too bad an idea.

Actor Approves.

Actor.

So, I hear this comic is worth reading.

...I should do that one of these days.

I read it all over about 10 full days about a month ago. S*P has a giant archive. Average one comic per day for over four years.

you're not alone in sp being addictive. But he's good at putting his characters through shit (I agree with the masterfully comment) and having readers love him for it. But Faye.... was amazing.

One of the things I love about SP is how down it can get while still remaining funny and cynical. It's always interesting to see the phrase "How could this possibly get worse?" put into words. But even I didn't see this one coming. As said before, masterfully done.

I read quite a few webcomics, but S*P is one of the few that has truly emotive characters. Monette's collage strip, and now this one with Faye... I'd hate to meet someone so jaded that they don't feel anything from the stories. That'd be the sign of a lousy human being.

Fayes death really did make me cry. Whether it was how Randy brought the character to life or how my own mind portrayed her....it made me feel miserable after reading it. So then there was the strip where her urn was being used as some kind of paper weight I laughed my ass off. The situation was genuinely funny whereas the preceeding events made me cry like a little girl with a skinned knee. Funny how that works, isn't it? ; )
