WHAT DO I DO. I want to support S*P, but I hate IGE! ARGH!

That's why I accepted them. Because causing pain thrills me.

I woke up.

And I said, "I wish to hurt the Baron. I will run IGE ads."

Then I choked a puppy for sexual release.

Now I get to try to figure out if you really are Randy Milholland, or just a n00b who's prentending to be him.

It is him. Trust me on this. Don't expect him to be a regular, though. I don't, at least. If he does, hey, its all good.

Thats a large amount of cool. Especially considering his is one of like three comics I'm constantly trying to get my friends to read.

Webcomic, inline ads don't bother me all that much. If its with a group I dislike I simple ignore. What causes fury and the burning desire to reign down terror and destruction on people are pop-up ads and ads that force move me to other sites.

Thankfully neither of those apply here so I'm sated.

The part that amuses me most is that I /know/ that IGE represents chinese (Forgive me if I'm generalizing here, I'm an asshole) farmers. Unfortunately, I've lost sight of my soul for perhaps the next year or so, being a player of WoW.

Everyone KNOWS IGE is all about chinese farmers, but you dont really KNOW until they start messaging you in game. Oh boy. The fun.

On a side note, since I haven't posted in quite a while:

Apparently my co-worker met Bill Nye once and said he was snobby jerk. I used to watch his show religiously.....never meet your heroes (or hear about them through co-workers, friends or internet forums I guess.)

Yeah... I met Jeff Corwin. I used to worship him, I'm a double major in Bio/Journalism. He came to my school to talk. Aside from the cost of 8000 dollars for a 2 hour program, he came late, left early, and swore in front of little kids waiting for his autograph.

Still, Jeff Corwin can't make his head do this!!! :billnye: :billnye:

Hrm.. just out of curiousity, has anyone else clicked on the ads?

I figured I'd see what kind of laughable prices they charge for gold in various games. I was amused. I was even more amused that the site was in french, with no obvious link to see it in ANY other language.

(for the record, I do not currently play any MMO's. Even if I did, I would not buy gold from them. I have no wish to pay real money for fake money in a game I'm already paying for.)

I played WoW for about four months before i quit, but during that time I simply despised the exchange of real money for fake money, not just because it sounded stupid, but because...it is stupid. I put the ad on block, it only served to remind me of one the reasons I quit the game.

Wish they'd let me exchange my fake money (Which is clearly the property of SOE, unless I'm reading the EULA wrong.) for some real money so I can continue feeding my addic... err... continue playing EQ2. Ya know... cuz if I can lower the cost of the monthly rate, that's a win in my favor.

Indeed. I also wish that I could make hundreds of dollars for about half-an-hour's work with a pickaxe, smelter and anvil as I can in Runescape.

And this thread makes me very glad that the nice people at Runescape made soliciting real money for game money/goods a ban-able offence. :o

Blizzard could learn a thing a or two from this game.
