i just stopped by the S*P site and saw the filler artwork.
I love the colors in the second one.

I also wonder what the project was that they were working on.

Blue Sun Missile
mesmerized by the pretty colors.

I love all of Randy's various spooky, imaginative things, so different from a (relatively) realistic comic like s*p. It's always a treat to see them as filler or whatever.

I'd have to agree.

Hehe, redneck trees. My fiance was going to use them in one of his games, but never got around to it. I still have their stats printed out and in my metal gaming clipboard.

I have to admit I clenched my ass a bit when I saw the top panel on the 03/01 strip. Redneck Trees are just one of those things my friends and I end up talking about in public and get side long glances over : P

That's funny...I once overheard someone talking about Redneck Trees in a Starbucks in Seattle.

Indeed. This:

>>CLICKY<<

would have to be one of my all time favourites. It's just so gloriously surreal. I kind of wish he'd write a story do go with it so I could find out where Quintus and the er... other creature are going. :D

And for some reason that I can't quite fathom, the Redneck Trees never fail to crack me up.

I remember seeing that picture, the headline below that reading "Yes, Anne Rice loves her some Jesus..." and the "Mommy look! I'm hentai!" gift wallpaper. The occuring giggling fit I went into threatened to force a snot out of my nose and onto my bathrobe, haha

Personal favorite of all time: The emo cat girl. Though I'm loving that one with the swamp house.

Ooh! I'd forgotten about the emo catgirl. See Nicrat's post above for the kind of reaction that brought on. Then a few days later, I saw a little emo chick wearing a cat-ear headband and got strange looks from people who were wondering what I was laughing at.

The cat with the hourglass eyes was awesome. I've always wondered what the actual storylines for that comic would have been like...I pictured it as some kind of Tim Burton madness wrapped in witty sarcasm.
