"...Have a black market value".

It's horrifying, but ghastly funny statements like that which make this comic worth reading. And considering two out of my three children are mentally dysfunctional (nonoverbal autistic), that's saying something.

Randy's always eminently quotable, if you don't mind who you horrify. *Grin*.---Al

It's greedy people like you who keep their autistic kids to themselves which create such a high demand for engineers on the black market right now. I could only afford two engineers this year, my evil-budget only allowed for parakeets. How in the hell am I supposed to train parakeets to design secret volcano bases?!

Rant inspired by something I suddenly remembered. I used to live in Silicon Valley. There was a high rate of autism because of the demand for engineers there. Apparently autistic peeps make good engineers.

S*P: The comic that says the things nobody else will say for fear of getting lynched.

And oh how I love it.

Forget lynching, try drawn and quartered or boiled in oil? I'm such a fan of the classics :P

Yeah, Randy seems to always know the proper thing to say in any comedic situation that would make most people want to scourge him. I know people who saw the coathanger gag in the first strip, were upset by it, and refused to read the rest of the strip. What the Hell! I mean I just don't think I want to live in a world where it's not considered funny to send a gift that says, "May you most likely severly wound yourself so that your child will never know life.", to the baby shower of the woman who cheated on you. Come on, that's just classy.

Well, it was mentioned that he did the first strip so people would know exactly what to expect of the comic in general. Anyone who raised their skirts and pranced away doing a dainty skip with their delicate sensibilities offended after that has really missed out on the great humor the comic has to offer. If it's offensive, it has yet to offend me personally, if ever.

Can you believe we've been reading the strip for three years, Thing?! Three years of checking S*P daily for updates like kids on presents, X-mas morning.

The comic still delivers : )
