Am I the only one thinking the metaphor or whatever Jason used in the last panel could spawn some disturbing mental images?

Oh, and while I'm here, yay for Randy not sucumbing to the virus that goes around Apr 1 that makes web comic authors do stupid things for the sake of an April Fools Day strip. :)

Jason forgot one important hazard of the stage...tempermental actors! Lord knows the misery they can bring to a production.

I always feel more than the normal amount of nerdy when I look forward to an event that is supposed to happen in a webcomic. I think the play will be awesome regardless of whether things turn out rotten or actually turn out well, even though the latter is more firmly expected.

Still don't know what to think about the beard, but I find it sinister for no immediate reason.

C'mon guys, we can't have Davan having a good play and doing that whole success thing. If he did that, what sort of comic would the whole thing become? So far it's been a highly entertaining and amusing mass of failure after failure after failure, and anything less than comedic failure now would...

...Well, in my own not-so-humble opinion, I think it'd be a bit of a let down. Still curious where he's going with the beard. I can't see him being a ZZ-Top fan, or whatever.

/rambling opinions

He could convert to Islam and call himself the Ayatollah Abu-ChooChoo.

Heheh

I can turn Davan into Freeman from Half life.

Yes, that could work...

Bludgeoning aliens to death with a crowbar is bound to be cathartic! :billnye:
