You know, I'm sort of surprised that High School of the Dead isn't on your list what with its extreme gore, extreme zombies and extreme violence. And now in an attempt to finish convincing actor to watch it, I shall also mention the extreme boobies and the extreme gratuitous pantyshots.

I'm one of those weirdos that actually wants content in his cartoons.
Also, pantyshots piss me off. Make the show R rated and show some real stuff, all that softcore is just a big cocktease.
Also also, as a rule of thumb, the more (pseudo) erotic content a show has the less other kinds of content it has. In this case, it's all just pantyshots and zombies. No plot, no characters, no humor, no point.

That is true. Mebbe you should just think of it as exactly the same as any other b-grade zombie survival flick.

Anyone said I like b-grade zombie flicks? I don't even like a-grade zombie flicks.
In fact, if it contains zombies, chances are I'm not interested.

In other news, I sampled the two shows I intended to, and here's my opinion (based on only the single episode):

Digimon X-wars - The Good Guy is a goody two shoes who's exceptionally good at EVERYTHING. I dislike him and his voice actor/actress. His digimon, however, has jerk-potential and therefore has potential to be an interesting character. The sidekicks were barely given any lines so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Conclusion: I don't have high hopes. I shall watch the second episode. If it won't get better I'll quit it.

Cat Shit One (yes, that's the show's name) - Ok, so I mostly don't care about a show's animation, but this one deserves a mention. It's 100% CG and it's fucking AWESOME. The weapons are, in fact, 'drawn' (for a loose term of the word) very realistically, to the point where a guy check how full his magazine is and the bullets are actually drawn correctly. As for the plot, well, it was a one off of a couple of American soldiers in Arab-land kicking ass (I don't know much about the American infantry MO but what the hell those two guys are doing alone?). It's like every other American movie of the kind only with fluffy bunnies.
Conclusion: I don't have high hopes for artful story-telling here, but I definitely think I'll enjoy the show. Recommended.

Wait, what? There are people that don't like zombie movies? That's like finding other people that don't like vampire movies...

I remember seeing an old vampire movie, where prof. Hellsing was a Jewish Rabbi. It was a parody of vampire movies, with a lot of garlic sausages and double entendres. It was the *only* good vampire movie I've seen.

What is this? Have I stepped into the twighlight zone? I could've sworn kyhm forums was a bastion of lovers of (in a non-sexual sense) zombies, vampires, werewolves, cthulu and any other pseudohorror anyone cares to name.

Dracula: Dead and Loving It? That's possibly because it is probably one of the few good vampire movies around.

No, I mean OOOLD. Like, 60's or something.

As for your other statement, Cthulhu is fine, but I find vampires, zombies and werewolves to be cliched. I see them as an excuse to avoid coming up with original ideas. Cthulian horrors, however, do require imagination. Even WoW had a couple and they were done pretty well in my opinion.

Edit -
On second (and third) thought, my arguments are invalid. I just tried to think on non-film vampires and, well, found enough examples to justify the cliche:
Alucard, from Hellsing (manga, I assume you read it and/or watched it)
D, from Vampire Hunter D (animated film, based on a novel [which I do need to read at some point]).
Villema, from Battle Angel Alita: Last Order (fuck awesome manga about cyborgs. We get to see a vampire versus cyborg fight)
Evangeline McDowel, from Mahou Sensei Negima! (One of the best characters in the manga. She was a ruthless mass murderer, until the protagonist's dad bound her in her true form, the 12 years old girl she were when she became a vampire. Now *that's* a reason to be an angsty teenager, eh?)

None of which I've watched. Well, I have watched an episode of some version of Hellsing which seemed okay, but not sufficient to surpass my restricted bandwidth induced apathy.

Here's a better reason to dislike HSotD though, a recap by the start of episode 4. Half an episode used to summarise the events of three episodes and that amounts to: Oh shit, zombies! Run to the roof! Oh shit, bff is a zombie! Time to escape the school! Oh shit, new teacher is creepy! Time to not hang around near him any more! At least Sunrise finally got the picture to leave the recaps to just the two minutes before the opening credits.

In other Animu news: Go and see Scott Pilgrim, it was wonderful.

And I hope your leg feels better, if it helps I'm planning on getting legless on Saturday night at the German club in Brisbane so I'll probably be unable to walk by this time next week. If I go through with my plans to donate blood on Saturday morning then I should save some cash on Bier!
Last Time I went to the German club I ended up drunk, full of pork and somehow got into a strip club where a German stripper let me hold bits of her until my money ran out and then walked most of the way home. Good times.
Also I haven't watched any Anime in about a year now. I'm taking it one day at a time. I do however have episode 1 of High School of the Dead, I just haven't got around to watching it yet.

Actor.

Those amputee strippers are just shameless with their prosthetics.

Every Vampire movie I've ever seen was a disappointment. My ex made me watch Twilight and it was so bad I broke up with her the next week.

You do know Twilight isn't actually a vampire movie, right?
