Obviously childhood was too kind to you if these are the worst games you've ever played into the nineties. Gaze upon Sewer Shark and know despair. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sewer_Shark

Bah, that was actually decent. Me and my dad beat it when I was a kid.

You want a horrible video game?

Fine.

Takeshi no Chousenjou.

Urgh. The hours I wasted on Sewer Shark.... Were save points really too much to ask? I think I got to the last level, realized I hated the game and then never played it again.

On the other hand, I never even figured out how to get past the first level in Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine, which is pretty much just like Sewer Shark, but in space and with worse gameplay. You can tell it is a horrible game because just gazing on the necronomicon-like box art has clearly driven the Amazon.com reviewer insane.

Also,
Quote:
Another kind of hazard is the slow traffic. The only way not to bump into is to buzz your horn and make them speed up their engines.

This is totaly not true. The horn in the game has about as much effect as my real life car horn on the interstate at rush hour.

Edit: Has anyone else noticed that just about all of the games suggested so far came out on SEGA-CD? :V

I actually beat Virtual Bart. It wasn't that bad.

I used to have a CD with 100 game demos on it(for Window 3.1 and Dos) there were some horrible games on that(sadly I don't remember many of their names, just the abject fear I have to this day of ever playing them again).

PC gamer Fo' life.

Actor.

I gotta add the Back to the Future games for the NES, but those might have come out in the late 80's instead of the early 90's.

I can't think of a single game for the Sega CD or CDi that didn't suck ass.

Vay. Popful Mail. Lunar. Lunar 2. Silpheed. Sonic CD (Probably the best 2D Sonic game ever, short of Sonic & Knuckles). Probably a few others that I can't think of right now... But, yeah. Not too terrible, considering the console's short-ass run.

FF8. I fell asleep fighting a boss battle for that game. I hate it with hate flavored hate-things.

I disliked ff8 greatly, and I felt ff7 was dull as well.

FF6 deserves to be remade in 3d.

DIE IN A FIRE

...and yes, I did like FF7. But not as much as I liked FF9.

You're missing the obvious, even though the Sega CD was mentioned:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_32x

A friend of mine had one, and I've had the fortune/misfortune to play a lot of the titles...

Cosmic Carnage,
Doom (oh god, horrible horrible port.)

On the plus side, the golf game wasn't too bad, but, "36 Great Holes Starring Fred Couples" leads to many, many horrible jokes.
