Funny thats exactly the resolution that I run it on, with all of the graphical settings maxed out and I get a cool 80fps. All four of my housemates also play it (two have fairly crappy machines) without problems. 'Course, all that really matters is the gameplay.

I think Tossems is actually playing on a computer made of cardboard. This would cause some mega issues with playability.

Seriously, the only thing that has sucked in C&C3 so far? Fucking Croatia. Jesus that was a horrible mission at the start.

I may have just been confusing super slow and boring gameplay for low FPS.

Gameplay is the only way to determine if a game is any good or not.
I haven't actually played Starcraft, mostly because other than C&C:Generals and Star Trek:Armada I suck at RTS games(FOR THE GLA!/KAHLESS!).
The only other RTS style games I've ever been able to enjoy are Freedom Fighters(BRING ME A SEQUEL DAMNIT!) and Battlezone.

Now, I know that no-one here will be able to read past the bit where I said I didn't play Starcraft, so I'm pretty free to say as I please at this point onwards:

I like watching the bits of porno movies that are there before the actual porn starts.
I never enjoyed playing any Final Fantasy games.
Spiderman movies aren't enjoyable.
I watch How I met your mother religiously.

But seriously, Battlezone was and is all sorts of sexy awesome. Hmmm... think I might start playing it again, actually. Especially if Activision puts it on Steam... but it'd piss me off to Epic proportions if I had to pay for it again.

I still haven't forgiven Cartoon Network for that particular sin. They blew through all the karma they generated by mounting blue gender immediately after flcl all in one go.

Jihadist Zerglings... That adds a whole new dimension to the nightmare.

Terrans had the biggest fucking weapon in the original Starcraft, the tactical nuke. Obviously they still have it in SC2 and it takes much less time to hit the target. It also appears to be much easier to spot what's being targeted, unfortunately.

However, the Mothership totally uberwanks. The Guardian and Devourer combo totally unbalanced the original game to the Zerg's favor, and the Mothership is ass rape in a can. Obviously the Zerg get some monster unit or attack too. So what do the Terrans get besides nukes? Considering mankinds fetish for the biggest fucking weapon we can build, regardless of its practicality, it better be something like a penis-shaped railgun that can obliterate bases wholesale from across the entire map.
