Hey guys, I'm in japan as all you know, so I'm relegated to using my old ibook or a public computer. As I like to have all my stuff ready to go (which my old lappy does for me), I'd rather use it. Also, I have wifi with it, which makes it much much nicer.

Here's my problem, I gave my mom my ram when I got her a powerbook forever ago, so I've only got 256mb of memory, and it kindof drags.

Anyone got a 256mb or 512mb pc100/133 sodimm laying around they wouldn't mind shipping to me? Shipping wouldn't cost much as its just like mailing in the states to send something to my fp/apo.

If not, I might end up buying some. I might just suck it up and quit being a pussy too. One of these will happen.

Sure, I'll see what I've got around. No one should have to live with 256MB. Would be a lot easier if my father was still running his computer repair shop.

And tell the truth, you sold the RAM for drugs and Japanese hookers, didn't you?

"Giving it to your sweet old mum", indeed. A likely sob-story. Next you'll probably tell us she's dying from some obscure disease.

Also, I didn't know you were in Japan, as I haven't been around much and am bad at keeping track of these things. I can't remember if Icy is still in Korea, for instance. If so, you two should team up and find some way to Gaijin-smash the entire continent.

I haven't any spare pc100. You'd have better luck asking for RDRAM almost.

Yeah, that's the only problem with pc100. pc133 or pc166 would work as well as long as the 166 is backwards compatible (I haven't ever came across any that wasn't)

Yeah, I'm in Japan. Icy is still in Korea. I love the trains and making the natives uncomfortable just by sitting in their presence, but, I always get a seat :D

Because I don't need/want your monies. Not to mention paypal can lick my balls. They tried to send me to collections for two grand in debt they invented, so I don't have anything to do with them anymore.

The cheapest I've found that I know will work (I haven't done much shopping) is here.

Its really kindof pricey for an old laptop, which is why I'm just seeing if others might have some I could negotiate off of them.

Checked, sorry Kry, never worked on laptops much. Any SO-DIMMS we had would be in storage currently.
