if you dont know what cps 3 its basicly the arcade board capcom was using for its 2d fighters which was never cracked untill now. so finally classics like street fighter 3, jojo, capcom vs. series and the like are now available on mame for net play

anyone want a match?

http://www.killwt.com/dcc/sf3/

the emulation is there and with a rom of sf3. though there are a few simple tweaks you have to do to get it running which are annoying so i'll run through them later

http://nebula.emulatronia.com/descargas.php

this page however has a very easy cps3 emulater which is nothing more then load and play. however it lacks net play. i guess you could use it if mame is too much of a hassle

If I had a decent setup for actually playing arcade games, I'd be down. Alas, alack.

Sair does not emulate, it seems. At least, not MAME games.

MAME is an emulator which allows you to play arcade games on your computer, for anyone who doesn't know and didn't click the links. CPS3 is something they had a lot of trouble with, and, as a lot of good games were programmed using it, many games were just not workable. With CPS3 cracked, though, we can now play games like SF3 on MAME.

Any luck with MvC2 yet? :-D

Am I going to have to look that up on about 2 dozen gaming sites just to get a general idea of what Red Earth is about, or would you mind explaining a bit here?

Edit: The only ROMs I could find for MvC2 was a PS2 ISO, btw. I'll continue looking, though.
