While the wild story that the bit of his brain that contained his username was left on the pavement, is largely unbelievable and most likely a romantic fantasy, I don't care and have very little else to do.

We are looking for users who stopped posting in June or May 2004, who male, 24(IIRC), didn't leave in a huff, and are otherwise unaccounted for.

LOL. It's not like that's the only part that's gone, it's just one of them.

Hell, somewhere out there is a LiveJournal I once used as well as a MySpace. I just don't know where.

Really, like I said in the pictures thread, and as Onion pointed out, the past isn't that important. Knowing my past won't change who I am now, it won't be some magical revelation that I was awesome or a loser.

What I do know is that I used to like Kyhm's, and I still do, so if you'll have me, I'm here to stay.

You're a pretty solid fellow, FC, and I'll be glad to know you. Don't care so much who your except that's IT'S A MYSTERY LET'S BE DETECTIVES and I actually always wanted to be private detective when I grow up until I figured out there's too put paperwork.

Everyone associated with my life was back at Oberlin (the college), and living in NC, I was too far away for anyone to know what happened. I NEVER let my family know about my online accounts -- couldn't have them reading about drunken nights in college.

And thanks, Spools. I figured I fit in once, I can do it again.

Only Oberlin reference I found was Doppelganger-X4.

Oh, and of course he isn't Yevvy. I'm pretty sure Yevvy is on the West Coast right now.

So step three is to become a drugged up, misogynistic know-it-all with severe OCD?
Not that I am complaining or anything.

I choose to believe him also despite the odds and the basic irrelevance, just because it seems like it would be fun to try to figure out.

A couple questions though after a quick history-skim :

Why did you mention here that you had just forgotten the login due to being away for a long time? Didn't feel like explaining it again?

You seem to use a fair amount of British/Australianisms in your posts- just an affectation?

Explanatory posts for the confused: Here, here, and here (also, I desire skull-bit pics, because that sounds neat. My own surgeries have left me sadly souvenir-less).

A few useful posts:

Other online hangouts? I used to do Adult Swim message boards, I did several tech boards, becuase I was studying programming (Dream In Code was a big one I used a lot apparently). I know I read EN and ES. I don't really know what else I read at that time.

As for hobbies, programming, lol. I did used to surf a lot.

I'm located on the East Coast, on the border of North and South Carolina, right near Wilmington Beach.

Well, I've tried to look back through some of the previously chatty on our boards. The biggest problem I had to deal with was that the date given by carrots as when he suffered his trauma (18 Jun. 2004) was just about one month prior to the Exodus over the Grey bannination. As a result there were a number of posters who stopped writing in this forum on or about the time stated so for every one listed here I had to make sure a corresponding one wasn't created with Mibber's group. Now I haven't been able to go all the way up to the specified date but I think I got the majority of potential users. If someone wants to independently verify, then please by all means.

So...here we go:
Easy Rhino - last post 2 Feb. 2004
ozzi - last post 17 Apr. 2004
Wraith? (Questionable) Last normal post - 18 Jan 2004. Had three posts in Aug & Sept. '04 that mostly only said "I'm back" but nothing since. Erring on side of caution since info given of date of incident
Blue Soul - last post 31 May 2004
Zergbait - last post 26 May 2003
chikinoo - last post 21 Apr. 2004
Oniko Hakubi - last post 5 Jan. 2004
Unum Plurum - last post 17 Mar. 2004

Easy Rhino has been active on the PWOT boards since then as I recall, so he's out. I'll probably do further Interweb sleuthing tonight at work when I have time to kill. Unless finalcarrots admits to shenanigans before then, but it honestly seems pretty elaborately constructed for a pointless hoax just to hide being one of the exiles, or something.

(I mean, sure, I would go into that level of detail, but I'm crazier than most people that way.)

Oniko is also out as he wasn't born in June.

Finalcarrot's birthday is 20th June. According to the above link, Oniko Habuki was born on the 20th August, therefore the two do not match.

To W.I., yeah, I didn't feel like explaining again and I wasn't 100% sure I remembered much about this place.

And the colloquialisms are from being well-traveled during college. I did a bunch of study-abroad programs for the experience.

Oh, and I forgot about the skull-bits! I'll get on ferreting away my sister's camera for that.

LOL. I will. You'll also know because it'll be dated August 13th of 2004, since my inept sister can't change the frikkin date.
