Gurren Lagann ep 22

for a claim by gainax that ep 22 and up were going to be OMG 40% OF OUR ENTIRE BUDGET YOU WILL SHIT YOUR PANTS AND BE THE GREATEST THING YOU HAVE EVER SEEN it was kinda on the lack luster side

oh sure it was entertaining but i was expecting some serious HOLY SHIT FUCK YEAH moments.

I don't know Shoonra, I think if protagonist can pull a power-up to a higher level that increases his abilities by a factor of x out of his <strike>ass</strike> bottomless reserve of mystical energy, he might be able to win this one easily. Who knows what will happen against true antagonist, though, even that might not be enough!

Is Death Note really the first time that concept's been used, though? I certainly liked the anime well enough (it's worth it just for the most dramatic chip-eating and pen-scribbling in history), but it seems like it's been done before somewhere, even if I can't think of where. A short story, perhaps?

so Kaze no Stigma has ended its run. nothing too ground breaking but it was enjoyable.

and Gurren Lagann ep 26 seriously had some LOL GAINAX moments but it was entertaining. I'm sure Shoon got a kick out of Viral with flowers on his head (my husbando)

most of us on /a/ aren't watching it for moe. as frankly potemayo is just some weird midget girl. we're watching it as the jokes are genuinely funny (ep 3 with a bunch of girls watching a horror movie. 2 are scared stiff with one shouting out GO JASON GO!!)

hmm what else is decent these days... i've been watching higurashi kai but as i had doen research after the first arc ended that kinda killed the mystery for me so i only watch kai like every week or so. darker then black will be ending soon too. i need something new to watch if you have any suggestions shoon/vass
