I checked it a few times. Logged into IRC to see what was up, and in a matter of minutes, it was back. Go figure.

I could never quit masturbating. It's like an old friend.

I was under general sedation getting some minor surgery done. On the upside I now have a nose the size of Gerard Depardieu which occasionally spits out blood in a humorous manner.

Nice to see that we're back and still alive, anyway.

I checked lots and lots, and got rather frustrated as I assumed it was just another way my internet had decided to piss me off, as it has been doing recently.

I loathe Verizon.

I had been busy dealing with other things like my best friend moving from Michigan to Washington State for his new job as a Reference Librarian and I'm sad to say Kyhm's sort of slipped my mind. It wasn't until my brother mentioned he couldn't get on that I decided to try it a few more times to see if it was killed off.

Thankfully it's not and I've let him know as such.

It was down, and I was sad. I've been going through INSURV lately, which is a pain and a half. I've been averaging 3 hous of sleep a night.

In conclusion, I want to go drinking with Actor. I've outdrank one aussie, time to challenge another. Oz VS Sailor. Who wins? So far it is 1-0 in the favor of the sailor.

I checked twice a day and sent one email to kyhm.

The upside to the downtime was that I received 0 email about new members joining the forum. There are now 942 new members since the 28th August. Since the forums came back up, there are 4 new members.

Are they all spambots?

No idea. I haven't checked to see which ones may or may not be legit. I have other things I want to do with my days instead of wasting it because a crap captcha does nothing to curtail spambots from joining, resulting in all new users having to be activated by forum admins (none of which have been activated or deleted, because each new user has to be searched for individually on the admin panel).

ditto

if the thing ever is updated i'd check them though

I just came up with a good analogy. It's like Heracles having to clean the Augean stables, except in this instance he isn't allowed to divert rivers, he has to use a spoon to clean out all the shit.

956 new members since 28th August.

The captcha still hasn't been fixed?

No.

Now at 996 new members.

That is one reason for the title change.

I checked exactly 0 times since October the 7th. Mostly because my unit sucks and does not have net access.

I fell off the internet for a month due to moving and not bothering to call the cable company beforehand, and thought the forums might be gone for good, and so was rather relieved to see them back when I checked today (I've got long-winded philosophical posts I still need to archive, dammit).
