I'm assuming that we still have a few firearm whackjobs reading since Kyhmnarock
Anyway, I heard tale that during WWI, in response to Germany's adoption of sniper tactics, that the British brought in big game hunters from India and Africa to teach their boys tracking and long range shooting.
I'm sorry, but that's fucking awesome. They hire Allen Quatermain to teach them how to hunt the Huns.
I heard it on a Discovery doco, but does anybody know if it's actually true, or have evidence to back it up?
