I just had my going away party at work, it was sad and yet cheerful.
We had cake, it was most delicious and moist.

And I have suffered a similar fate, except I was eaten by Lord of the Rings online.

I would've expected you to wait for Warhammer online.

Eh, I'm also a big fan of Lotr, plus I have a life time subscription so I don't have to worry about monthly fees. Plus I'm waiting till WAR does a free trial before I really make my mind up, though theres enough that I'm hearing that I'm not really liking.

True story, because I work for the evil empire, chances are I shall be part of the beta testing for Warhammer online.

So, I'm running the Loonixes. I might not be able to play it under wine. If that's the case then I'll just have an extra beta account floating around...

I got swallowed by schoolin' and work.

As for physical location, I got a nice little dry (as we call places with no running water here) cabin about a 30 minute walk from campus. Let me tell you, I was very glad when the most recent cold snap (-40 and colder) broke.

No no, that's what made it cool. It's a social Epimenides paradox. :psyduck:

People on Kyhm's are never normal, which makes them simultaneously cool and uncool.

If you go look at them IRL, though, you collapse the waveform and return them to normality. It is very sad.

I blame you guys for conditioning me to seek out the company of people like you. Now all my time is spent in the computing club at JHU where people are From Teh Internets. And it's all you guys's fault. Feel proud.

And I remember the days when my posting got people pissed. Nostalgia's a nice fun indulgence. And when used correctly, can give one a sense of perspective; it's neat to know where the folks of my once-favorite intarbutts bastion have gone. Yeah, it's not as lively as it once was, but it seems to have avoided the circle-jerking that afflicted Mibber's Expats board (both forums did better when integrated). You guys are still fun. Heck, when is WI not a source of erudite hilarity?

Sorry Mad, you're part of the new Goth-wave of self-proclaimed rejects, just like you're gay for Bridget. There's simply no escape. Just be glad that your gayness for Bridget isn't recursive. That would get messy quick. Dicks in dicks in dicks of messy.

These days I am surprisingly normal. Married, one podling, two dogs, and happy.

Huey hasn't come to torment me recently and hell Fyre and I have come to terms for the most part.

While I still have a sick sense of humor and am not phased by much (as illustrated by some porn the young ones were watching and crying over... it barely got a "meh" from me, further breaking them) but I can pretend to be normal very well, and for the most part pretend for everyone not my wife.

I don't even have my still preferred style of clothes to wear anymore... they're not normal and I really haven't had the time or money to replace the ones that wore out.

My truly artistic and twisted side seemed to be largely angst driven, and on days where I'm feeling particularly down the urges do return.

Edit: The porn that so horrified the young ones was a fairly mild fetish porn. Some woman ate an octopus and a soda can with her pussy (the octopus came out literally chewed up and can was partially crushed, the soda made an interesting waterfall coming out), smoked with her ass, had some guy stick his head in both at various times. They also had a guy put his hand in her pussy and push it out her ass hole (streching the flesh, not through it) and vice versa.
