The best reason to own an X-Box 360

You have no idea how excited I am this is coming out. This is basically a real time scorched earth. It was originally released as a hidden minigame within Duke Nukem 3D for the Sega Saturn. You needed to have a Quake game save or some other Egyptian FPS game save on your Saturn in order to unlock it. It was 7 player multiplayer and one of the best party games to come out.

Real Time Scorched Earth? I liked that game, but not enough to buy a console.

This game differed slightly as there was no sandbagging, which just got old fast. Death Tanks also features a few little random variations that made it awesome.

Blitz Round: Next to no charge time for any weapons. Machine guns act like lasers.

Money dropping planes: A plane will travel from one side of the screen to the other, all the while dropping $100 boxes of joy. Shoot the plane to have it drop an even large payload all in one area.

Secret weapons: When a level starts there will be little orbs buried in the landscape, you have to use up your weapons in order to dig them out before they expire and explode. What do you get? Mystery prizes which include: Lasers, smart nukes(controlled like super sheep in worms), satellites that shoot machine guns at enemies in it's line of site, super shield(full powered shield that reflects most shots except for full power head on shot), Negative shield(Sucks in all projectiles, only useful for sucking in money from exploded plane and other super weapons dug up, other wise you gonna die).

I'm hoping they release classic version of this game with the updated version like they did with warlords.
