Correct. I like this guy's art, must find more.

THere's a reason for that, and it's they all got arrested, and don't make it anymore :.:

But some guy does translate the comic, even though he does take it upon himself to reverse the image, and colour it in every now and then...

Reasonably tricked out, for Windows - I use keyboard shortcuts for almost everything because its soo much easier than moving the mouse an inch. That and I love squeezing every last drop of performance out of my aging computer.

Peace - Keles (developing Khym poster)

btw~ my personal award for l33test desktop goes to GA for that entity's minimalist and beautiful Canti arrangement.

Keles: What windowing mod application are you running and how do they affect your system performance?

That setup you got there look very BeOS.

The best kind: Good ole-fashioned uxtheme.dll hacking. http://www.lightstar1.com/install.htm. I use the manual patching instructions because thats guaranteed to work - the patcher programs dont always work.

It doesnt' slow your system to a crawl like in the good old days of this kind on winmods?

Yay, <3 to you for being a 1600x1200 sympathizer.

It's not that I always use 1600x1200 (well... on my desktop, I do,) it's more to the fact that Linux/KDE deals really fucking well with changing resolutions. KDE's background system not only has random/ordered timed background lists, but the resize support beats any other system down in terms of quality and saneness. Scaling up of that Canti pic doesn't introduce any artifacts or blurriness... it's pretty damn smooth. Scaling down is even better - it doesn't just drop every second pixel and every second line.

As for multiple resolutions - KDE detects changes in resolution and automagically scales font sizes so they are the same "apparent" size on-screen... works like a charm, too. Also, this support has probably gotten even better with the new release of KDE - 3.2! Lord knows running stuff is more responsive in the new system...

... and Keles, I want that background. Very nice desktop in general, too.

A bit random, but am I the only one that has problems with the anonomizer everyone keeps using. It either won't load the pictures for me, or take like a day and a half.

Nah, anonymizer doesn't work for me either. Tends to bring the red x of doom.

True, I'm not even curious enough about those broken images to bother ripping them apart to non-anon them anymore.

[Edit: Stupid freaking double-key errors. It's 'to', not 'oo'!]
