Yet another reason I prefer pedanting semantics to syntax. On the other hand, I spotting a typo in the quiz.

The only reason I managed to get as good as I did is because I've studied Spanish (and this explaination will probably only make sense to people who've actually studied foreign languages).

However, despite the fact that I am a grammar god AND I hate English classes, I'm not taking the English AP test. Yes, I'm crazy.

You know, now that I think about it, I did think about the French grammar structure while I was taking the test, and it helped. Interesting.

... and about having taken other languages... it's true! I've taken Spanish and Latin (albiet much less Latin), and it's all I can do not to notice links and stuff learned in those classes rather than in regular English grammar.
