Yes, it's designed to work on dialup. Instanced maps DENY the possibility of lag.

I've bought it, I have to finish an assignment first then I'll start playing.

Countdown: 6 days.

Healer NPCs continue to be the most stupid AIs on the planet.

"Hrm. I should heal you... but running into that mob of Charr looks mighty appealing... OH THE HUMANITY!"

Yeah, but then you realise some people are as dumb as the AI. Saw a warrior haste himself then aggro all the bad guys in an area for this horrible ungodly quest the villainy of galwrath or something close to that. Several times in a row. We decided to stop resing them till they learned. Some people never learn. You need to have the mage henchman with the healer henchmen to make the healer operate a little better. This will only help so much.

wasting 3 hours on exploring a huge map that leads nowhere and ending up exactly where you started is surprisingly fun.

Was it filled with hydras and abominations? Oh well, exploring can be fun.

Yep, that's a great place to die. 3 npcs and 70 deaths later i found there was nothing out there. Wait till you make it to the desert with super hydras and minotaurs and everything is level 20.

we managed to not die at all {we = me (14e/me) and my friend (15mo/e)}, but it took some serious divide and conquer tactics and using our 2 henchmen as cannon fodder :D
gods, that was fantastic.

The best example of the healers A.I. is something that happened to me today. I managed to down most of a group of charr (assorted varieties) and then proceeded to agg them all. Now being an elementalist i then died. The healer NPC walked over to me and stood there like a cow chewing cud until the charr beat her to death.

Lets see

Cratrel La Rue - N/Mo (Monk for resurrect only)
Ceil Lyfenhammer - W/E (will be changing to monk)
Incel Lifyl - Mo/R (Healing monk, was a smiting)
Shin La Shiel - R/E (Yeah I don't use the E stuff much... may look for a better secondary at some point)

And if you're tired of trying to buy and sell shit in game use http://www.rpgtraders.net it's got a good auction or trade system and is all ingame monies.

Two of the monks are for one or two skills. Resurrect for the warrior and necro and mend for the warrior.

I tend not to use secondary skills much seeing as I like the way the main skills jive so well with the way I like playing my characters.

as for levels it's

12
12
8
7

I believe

I just don't think that many of the classes fit together the way I want them to and the only reason I get them is for the extra missions. The only one that I found that was a sweet match was E/Me and I may scrap one of these to play that again. But thats just my personal preference. I like being very good at what I do and for me that means swing hammer, being a zombie raising blood sucking vampire, and such. Monk just seems to either fix minor flaws in my characters or replaces that damn signet with a useful skill.

oh i see.
well, my character is an E/Me. your dislike of combos surprised me but maybe that explains it.
never seriously tried any other combo yet. from the (very limited) knowledge i have of other classes i think an E/N could work nicely. im gonna try it if i ever get my own account and have to remake anyway.
how far did your E/Me get btw? mine is level 15 and i love it :)
