I'd like to say one thing.....

AWESOME!!!!

Has anyone else been watching this?

I don't like the fact that every story so far has been on Earth, and that next weeks is on Earth as well. It seems a little different to the Classic Doctor which went to every world in the universe and then went back two hundred million years later just to mess with them again.

I didn't think that Billie Piper could pull off a dramatic role, but she's been very good so far, after the rather brilliant sketch from the british comedy show "Big Train" about her I didn't think I would ever take her seriously, but Rose is a fun character and perfect offset for the new Doctor.

And the new Doctor? Chris Eccelson is great at playing him, he's got the goofy madman, technically brilliant and the intense Doctor right down.

As for the monster...
The Dalek was pretty good, the two parter with the farting monsters and the whole "Big Bad Wolf" reference which is in every episode is making me happy in my little girl parts, I don't know where it is going, but I'm happy to have it back..

Its been a long time, now the Tardis is back, hard-core.

Oh, does anyone know where I can download "The Curse of the Fatal Death." its the parody Doctor Who sketch made for Comic Relief.

Yes, i've seen a bunch of them (only when i've been at my parents though, I don't own a TV).

Yes I agree Chris Eccelson made an awesome Doctor and Billie Piper played the Rose character very well.

I give it two thumbs up.

My TV is sadly lacking in new or classic Dr. Who.
I suppose BBC America'll put out some over-priced DVD's in a year or so. :-?

You don't need TV, Thinneh. You have the intarweb.

I am still clinging to my opinion of Tom Baker being the best Doctor.

Eh? Well, the picture itself's been floating around the internet and my hard drive for years, but yes, I did update my profile today...

... Oh, Thinneh. If I had known you were lacking, I would've given the link to you weeks ago.

In terms of story I'll say that Jon Pertwee(The third Doctor) was the best Doctor.

I only ever read the books at school, they had a massive collection of them at my school. I never got a chance until recently to watch the old episodes of the show.

In terms of BEST ARC, it'd be the Sixth Doctor for me. Trial of the Time Lord = <3. Oh, Valeyard. I mean... Evil Doctor.

Jon Pertwee.

The Doctor Versus The Master.
The Doctor Versus The Timelords.
The Doctor working with the British Army and UNIT.

Theres an old saying that the first Doctor you meet is always the one you like the most.

In Order of awesomeness(based on the books I read).

Third Doctor.
First Doctor.
Fourth Doctor.
Second Doctor.
Nineth Doctor.
Fifth Doctor.
Seventh Doctor.
Sixth Doctor.
Eighth Doctor.

The only reason I put the last doctors at the bottom of the list is that their stories were all small parts of a greater narrative arc, which wasn't easy to portray in the books, especially given that I read the books out of order.
And the Seventh and Sixth Doctors would have been higher if I'd been able to get more books on them.

Curse of Fenric IS the best Doctor Who Book ever written(Seventh Doctor).

It's all about the scarf, Actor.

(Oh gawd, I'd forgotten about K9. Much <3 for our lil robotic doggie friend.)

The Doctor Who comics used the scarf to hide the fact that they were re-using older comics with the third doctor by covering his face.

I just watched Dalek... and... Gawd. I love Daleks. >:O He so better not be the last one. Davros did get away in the escape pod when the armada exploded, iirc.

I've seen every ep of the new season so far and love it to bits.
I can't wait to see whats coming, though I am saddened that we have such a short run with this new Doctor. I really quite like him.

This weeks episode was nice.

Not as ball smashingly awesome as Dalek, but still good.
Emotional and stuff, couldn't find Big Bad Wolf reference sadly, I will have to watch it again later and see what I can see.
