Uh, BM is -the- leveling spec for a hunter, it makes it ridiculously easy to do so.
Also, why bother taking 3 mobs at once? there's no real reason to do so unless there's a lot of things there, the only class you'd need to do that with is a class that has a lot of ae (ie. a mage, or a prot/holy paladin)..

To fight a mob as a hunter, tell your pet to attack it, autoshoot it, and use shots between autoattacks. It's not particularily hard at all, probably the most easy class to level ever.

Yeah I knew that but I was wondering if there was anything more to it than that. Yeah got my hunter to 21 and I guess they fought 3 at once to farm for motes and essence. I was fighting 3 at once to get all the quests mobs i needed before other people tagged them.

Well, yes. there is.

And, handily, someone else has done a summary of what that something is, so I can be lazy. (of course it'll probably confuse the shit out of you, but hey)

If it does I'll figure it out. Because currently my hunter makes no sense. I split 2 mobs between me and my pet. I am marksman. And i usually melee with AoC on. I know I should switch back to monkey if I am going to melee but I am just to lazy, plus I got addicted to going fast as a druid.

Thank you.

edit: Holy shit. I didn' t realise there was this much math involved in being a hunter. So let me ask this. From what that thread said As long as I cast a shot 0.5sec after the start of autoshot and end 0.5 sec before autoshot I won't eclipse it.

That's pretty much the entire point of that whole post, yeah.

I thought they were going to purposefully nerf the size on them. So you are saying it is a bug?

I come to you, once again, for help. The 20s were still in the space of time I thought I could everquest my way through the game and only grind things my level and slightly higher and still go through at a good pace. Now that I know differently and am raising a new character through the 20s I find myself at a loss for where the hell a lot of quests my level are. I'm currently leveling a BE paladin at lvl 24 (mostly achieved by doing sfk runs and getting my polearm). I honestly have no clue as to where to go. And as I don't want to go back to Hillsbrad (to much ganking) I find myself split between Ashenvale, Stonetalon, and 1K Needles. Is one of these better than the others for number of quests bunched up together? Or should I just hopscotch between them and do quests as they come?

PS: Currently two friends and I can trio sfk no problem until Argul and I usually get between 3/4s a level and 1/2 a level from that. The only problem is I don't have the time to be doing that everyday.

1K needles until you're done there, then Ashenvale until you can't push there any more. Then back to Hillsbrad- you can't beat the XP there, ganking aside.

By the time you're done in 1KN, you should be close to SM. Finish out Ashenvale, then SM til you see that damn armory in your nightmares. Then get down with some RFD. Fuck Hillsbrad.

... I think you mean RFC, then SM around 32-33 for cemetary. If you're 32 by the time you're out of 1KN quests, you're doing it wrong in terms of quest grinding, as they would all be grey to you.

Thanks, that has helped a lot, I become so lost after I finish ghostlands/barrens until I pick up at about 34 and start in on STV and Desolace.

@Radio- why? this is one of the places in unrelated where douchebaggery doesn't reign rampant and is the best place on the forum for discussion about WoW
